Ali91
Take a bow son. At least someone put in a performance. Chris Millar was a huge loss aswell. Knee jerk thread but **** it.
Edstar101
Great performance by Muzz.....to manage to play so well surrounded by crap was some achievement. Pity that all it does is increase the likelihood that we will not have him for much longer
Honest Saints Fan
The only player who wasn't scared to shoot today. What a lad. If only the other players would at least try, who cares if they go 10 yards wide, just try and shoot pleaseeeeee.

Honest Saints Fan
Can we count JR's free kick Well at least he tried for 45 minutes more than Samuel did. Complimentary or what?
Saintee_Calum
He effectively signed a contract with a top flight/championship English club with today's performance. In a few years time we look back with pride that a player of his quality used to dawn a St.Johnstone shirt every week
The ghost of Jim Morton
He effectively signed a contract with a top flight/championship English club with today's performance. In a few years time we look back with pride that a player of his quality used to dawn a St.Johnstone shirt every week I agree. The chances of Muzz remaining with us next season must be close to ZERO. He has it all, fight and spirt, strength, drive, vision and no shortage of skill. He will improve greatly, but the simple fact is that to do so he will have to get away from the bunch of Donkeys he plays with at the moment:sad:

O'Rourke
I'd hate him to sign for one of our rivals! Great player and, along with Dave MacKay, one of our best ever value for money signings.
Radford 72
I'd hate him to sign for one of our rivals! Only Scottish club he'll be signing for is Rangers. It'll either be them or down south.
Cagey
Only Scottish club he'll be signing for is Rangers. It'll either be them or down south. Hopefully down south . He has just left a bankrupt club so he wouldn`t want to go to another.

soulfulsaint
Thought he was immense in second-half particularly - great asset to the club. Hope when he goes its to England or further afield. It would be a real shame to see him squander his talent at debt-ridden Rangers.

silver_blue
As muh as I would like to stay, yesterday's team display makes me think we need the money to rebuild. Sometimes you need a display like yesterdays to make it crystal clear to the powers that be that a team needs a major overhawl. Might be a good thing in the long term. Who knows ? Joey
Major overhaul don't even discribe it. The entire squad with the exception of perhaps 3 or 4 players needs to be looked at and thier positions within the club evaulated. In the business world if you don't add value to your organisation you are shown the door - Mr Brown you are a businessman, time to start doing this. At this rate with that squad and lack of goals, pace, ideas ambition I fear for the next season...
Bridgendboy
Back to the thread Davidson was head and shoulders above everyone yesterday and must have thought he was carrying the team himself. He will be gone at the end of the season but I hope he gets a game for Scotland before he goes. The few doubters on here who think he is not good enough will see in years to come what we had. saintee4life
Yeah one of the doubters is no longer on here now, and we all know who that person is?Hope you mean head n shoulders above saints players and not everyone on the park because he certainly wasnt that. Would be very surprised if hes not at saints next season but if rangers or anyone is daft enough to pay an over inflated fee for him then we must bite their hand off. He can tackle and break play up but his creative talent is null and void and ball retention is poor
