cristo
Wasn't a bad penalty. Keeper got across brilliantly considering the pace of it. There's no such thing as an unstoppable penalty that isn't too risky to take in my opinion. Apparently there is. One foot in from the post, one foot under the crossbar, hit at pace. Can't remember where i read that, but I definitely read it somewhere. I'll get my coat
HOODLUM65
Does this mean he's OFF the penalties ? . Must have been some penalty when the keeper had to be replaced after making the save .
garydavidson
Should be able to watch it on the BBC highlights on the website. Good pace to win the penalty and not too bad a strike.
THE LARK SAINT
Just missed out on equaling Club record since 1890 .John Taylor scored in first 6 games, if that pen had went in he would have matched it. He can still match Kenny Wilson's 1890/91 record . scored with 12 in a row. They have 13 games left.
ejksjfc
Apparently if he had scored in that game he would have broken a 134 year record having scored in all of his first 6 games for the club.

Cagey
Will he be allowed to play against Saints in the semi ?.
CPFCSaint
Always nice to see youngsters making a mark. This is the type of thing St. Johnstone should be doing to move forward. What is the youth set up like at Saints and in Scotland as a whole?

Honest Saints Fan
Unless he plays for Cowdenbeath no he hasn't. He is on the bench for Dumbarton who are 1-0 up.
jhq
Just a wee guess, but maybe Kane Hemmings off injured - he plays for the Blue Brazil.

Honest Saints Fan
Every award winner at Dumbarton POTY thanked Chris Kane for his contribution to Dumbarton football club this season. Pressing on the fact without his goals they maybe would not have managed to finish thifth. He has not been starting regularly due to illness and the fact they were safe from relegation and Murray wanted to play DFC players first and foremost. A very successful loan for Chris. The ghost of Jim Morton, Born2Bru, HOODLUM65 and 2 others
HOODLUM65
Did wonder why he was not getting a start, but can understand the Manager's reasoning with next season in mind. Well done Chris Kane. Looking forward to him contributing to Saints 1st team next season.
Honest Saints Fan
I did ask him his goals for next season and he said he had spoken to Tommy and hope to be more involved in the first team, which is great to hear. garydavidson and HOODLUM65
ejksjfc
If he can come in and do half as well as SM he would be worth going with . Although if we keep May it might be worth sending out on loan again next season. 2 almost season long loans never did Stevie May any harm although I cant see him goi stepping up to a higher level than Dumbarton

But I am of the opinion of keeping him with us. He is a natural replacement for Iwelumo and cover for May and McLean. Yes he may not be getting regular football but it will bed him into the team

Would rather have Kane on the bench than a makeshift like Iwooloomoo.
