Cagey
official site saying stevie has a slight knock and tommy and billy stark have held conversations and agreed that they will make sure stevies knock does not get worse The only way you can make sure a knock doesn`t get worse is not to play him. sjfc.spl.09-10
3-1 saints, 1659 away fans, raith will go 1 up. No one will throw seats at our goalie and there will be 1 smoke bomb.. My prediction AthensSaint and scotty gordon
AthensSaint
On paper, this should be comfortable. Raith havn't won in the league since mid-December and are on a dire run of form. BUT it isnt played on paper and Raith will see this game as the one that makes their season. We do seem to have a professional approach and healthy respect for lower league teams in recent years but one of these days it will come unstuck. Hate to feel edgy, but I would be happy with a draw and a replay at home.

fazman1977
Any truth in the rumour that Raith have relented to make it a cash gate?
glenrothes saintee
Any truth in the rumour that Raith have relented to make it a cash gate? Nothing on Raith's website about 10mins ago when I looked, but maybe their site is as slow at updating as Saints website.
Das Rave
I would expect an announcement tomorrow on a 'pay at the gate' turnstile. I have no insider info or sources, just a gut feel
PerthSeany
That would right annoy me! I took time out of my day because they made an utterly stupid decision to make it all ticket to go down and get tickets for no reason as it would be pay at the gate on the day anyway!! Confirms my point that the decision maker at Raith does indeed need to visit his local GP to get his sanity checked.

Rovers_Lad
We have previous of making games all ticket then at the last minute deciding to open a cash gate. This happened a few times in the past during derby games against Dunfermline. Wouldn't surprise me if a ticket gate was in operation on Saturday. Total farce that the away end is being made all ticket. Edited March 6, 2014 by Rovers_Lad
angus-saint253
I thought it was the police who insisted it be all ticket - ridiculous either way. Pleasantly surprised we've cracked the 4 figure mark, should be a good day.
pitsjfc
Really hope there is a cash gate, not paid until tomorrow and wont be able to make the ticket office! Will be absolutely gutted if not. Horrible decision by the police/raith. Fair few of my friends with the same problem.

glenrothes saintee
What time do the pubs open/where is everyone going? Wetherspoons in Kirk wynd (far end of high street) will be in there at 10am for liquid breakfast. Ali91
Rovers_Lad
http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/starks-bar-kirkcaldy Starks Bar closed down many moons ago. Plenty pubs on the high street but a good 10/15 minute walk from there when heading to the ground. There's the Novar Bar on Nicol Street which is seen as the main Rovers pubs however it is away fan friendly. There's also The Estuary (was known as The Football Arms) on Links Street if you want a pub relatively close to the ground. sixties saintee
glenrothes saintee
Just found out that O'Connels bar (end of high street nearest the ground) is also open at 10am for liquid breakie.
PauloPerth
Official announcement made that there is now a cash gate for Saints fans. Ticket office at McD no longer to be opened on Saturday morning.

Ticket office at McD no longer to be opened on Saturday morning. So the reason is Saints didnae want to pay time and a half to ticket office staff
