The ghost of Jim Morton
Please god we get some football this weekend with the Dons as our guests. Should it go ahead I think we will have a decent chance of 3 points if we have been able to carry our form over from the games prior to the enforced break..Does anyone have any idea what's happening up at McD regarding the clearance of the pitch and the surrounding areas?? Team wise I have no idea as it's been so long since Motherwell I do not know who is fit and who is not. If everyone is fit, I would like to see us start with the same 11 who started the 2nd half at Fir Park.. O'Rourke
Really hoping this is on as I'm needing my St Johnsone fix badly! Have to agree with the suggestion to start with the eleven that finished at Motherwell. Snow, snow, quick, quick, go!

garydavidson
I have no idea what the team should be, all I know is that things have changed since we have had no games Aberdeen have beaten United and Hearts so will have quite a bit of confidence. Still they are not scoring that many goals, but also keeping it quite tight. Cant wait for this game, saturdays have not been the same the last few weeks. Dr Christmas Jones
Whats the surrounding areas like??It's been raining and flooding will probably be the problem if it keeps getting warmer.Never went to Bellshill for a pub before the 'well game. What with the weather, thought it safer just to get through and in the club beside the ground. Mike180279
Several tons of snow need to be lifted from the McDiarmid Park pitch, car park and other areas but a plan is in place and with nature hopefully lending a helping hand and the forecast suggesting that day time temperatures will stay above freezing then a return to match action on Saturday looks a distinct possibility. However, one area that will be out of commission on Saturday will be the Muirton Suite which has suffered extensive water damage due to burst pipes and the Club apologises to Season Tickets holders who normally use this suite before and after the match. Tranmere Saintee
Ghostie they were clearing the car park at the back of 4 yesterday, so should not be too much of a problem so long as the heat wave continues.
Scobby_SJFC
On a side note, say this game was to be called off, would that mean that the Saints end V celtic would be season ticket holders only, as there is no general sale and voucher only system in place? The Mystery Man
Hi everyone since there has been a lot of teams getting there games posponed in the last few weeks including Saints i was just wondering if anyone has seen what the weather is like at McDiarmid Park and what you think the chances are of the game being on this Satarday. Nuggets
Playing last night up at McDiamid on the astro, and the car park is still covered in snow still last night, but did not get a good luck at the pitch.
The ghost of Jim Morton
Unless the weather takes a turn for the worse ( forecast aint bad) I see no reason why the game might be off. They have started clearing the car park I believe and the continuing thaw will assist them in therir task..

garydavidson
The Midden are beating Aberdeen one nil at the moment, Aberdeen have had a decent good run recently.
Cagey
The Midden are beating Aberdeen one nil at the moment, Aberdeen have had a decent good run recently. Would have preferred a draw between them but a Midden win gives us a chance to go above Aberdeen on Saturday.
SingaporeSaint
Would have preferred a draw between them but a Midden win gives us a chance to go above Aberdeen on Saturday. I can see it both ways. I don't think St Midden will be serious contenders for relegation. Though Killie seem to be our boagie team, I can see them dropping away until they get a decent manager in to settle things down and hopefully by then it will be too late. Getting rid of Kilmarnock and getting Dundee up will give the SPL a more excting fixture list for us Saintees.
silver_blue
Would have preferred a draw between them but a Midden win gives us a chance to go above Aberdeen on Saturday. I'm happy the skunks won. Tightens things up and makes the top six more realistic. Might as well be positive and look upwards.

Widge
If we win both our games in hand, 5th here we come and hearts and utd are easily catchable.

Saint Stevo
Pawlett looked pretty good for them at the weekend against Hearts, but to be honest the rest looked very ordinary. I hope that we carry the good form we had around Xmas time into this game - it's a shame we have had such a long break considering the couple of good results we had.
