That programme must surely raise questions as to why they were awarded the tournament. I don't trust Platini one bit and would not be surprised if there was a major bung involved. There is no way that the governing body could not be aware of the problems in Poland / Ukraine with regards to racism / violence / neo-nazism.

I am actually pleased that we didn't qualify. How much trouble are the English fans going to get involved in you reckon, both those who will be fighting with the locals and those who will be teaming up with their like-minded white supremist ****wits

I'm surprised this situation has just started rearing it's head now. I watched Ross Kemp years ago doing one of his programmes on gangs and they were in Poland. The hooliganism over there is as bad or worse than it's ever been here.

The Police are generally pretty organised outside of the stadium with fans arriving on special football trains getting transferred onto buses and getting a police escort to the away end. (similar to what happens at Swansea no less!)

Inside the ground is another matter.

Yeah, and i would love to visit Scotland.

Championship Manager fans would like to thank AGF for producing Mads Jorgensen. One of the best young players in the game around the year 2000!! :)

Seriously though, would love to visit Denmark even though beer is very expensive in Scandanavia!

Well, in Norway and Sweden beer is very expensive, but in Denmark it is actually quiet cheap :)

I touched on this last week, with uefa listing the european places for scottish clubs as provisional. The SFA have to expel rangers now otherwise we all suffer. No newco. No 3rd division. Nothing.

Looks like Mr Lomas needs to brush up on his Saints history:

Who can spot the all the mistakes in this tiny article?

I wish we had a PR manager who could brief him before he talks to the press.

Cannot wait for the draw. The 25th of June could be a big day of celebration if we get someone that fans can travel to. I just hope it is not Aktobe, Anzhi or somewhere in Israel.

Poland would be nice as it is well connected with cheap flights and since there is a reasonably sized Polish community in Perth, they might come to the game in Perth and we could even attract a few new supporters and that Polish section on our website would be put to good use

Sparta Prague or FC twente would be fantastic as well! Cannot wait

A Polish team would be a nightmare, ask any Dundee United fan about the Poles in Dundee last year, no rules when it comes to football violence with that lot, anybody is fair game for them and we will not be any different, be warned.

PS The only Pole ive seen at Mc Diarmid is the one with the First Division Championship flag on.

'no rules when it comes to football violence for that lot'

'that lot' = poles?

I would hope that a st. johnstone forum wans't seen by a wider audience as carrying such offensively sweeping statements as that, even if people will be distracted by the BBC's recent scare-mongering.

Im not even part of the PC brigade, but I think you should be a hell of a lot more concise in your descriptions, 'a small part of the Slask fans who travelled to dundee last year' rather than 'poles'

Anyone remember when we briefly became public enemy number 1 in South Korea?

Completely over-hyped what happened last year in Dundee with nowhere near the level of violence that some portrayed. I personally got on great with a bunch of Slask fans that I met on the way to the game.

There were British based Polish thugs who support various Polish teams as well as Slask thugs in Dundee, and it wasn,t a minority mate.
