If Goodwin did that to Stevie May, May would have probably landed in the car park! ;)

All kidding aside this sort of behaviour was hounded out of most leagues in Europe in the 80's, but we retain a macho 'it's part of the game' attitude. I do agree with HSF in one regard, Goodwin is no hard man, Goodwin is a coward and a cheat, so is his manager for praising his 'performance'.

Nope, still say he is a thug....although, by their nature, many thugs are in some ways cowardly in the way they carry out their thuggery

He isn't a thug though. If anything it was cowardly. He does his job very well. Would have him at McD.

Why the feck would we want him in our team? We've got Muzz back to bossing the midfield without having to resort to sly potshots at the opposition. Goodwin wouldn't get a place on our bench let alone anywhere near the first team.

Goodwin is an old fashioned type of defender who gets away with most of what he does - The only problem is he is in a new generation that doesnt like that style of football - Dundee United have not come out of this smelling of roses but that seems to be the "way ahead" -Video Evidence supplied by the club to social networks left Funny Lunny in a no win situation.

I do not like this disciplinary panel -thats what your refs and his assistants should be picking up on -IF they dont then that should be it -They get paid enough.

Feck this trial by TV shit -just get on with it.

How/Why is this individual allowed to masquerade as a football player?

Apart from Mannus,  Mackay, Scobie, Ando, Frazer, he committed loads of fouls, some which were not penalised.

Amazingly it took a challenge on Stevie( who had just received a yellow card for a tackle) in the second half, when some thought Stevie was getting a second yellow,
