auchterarder mark
Now the season of all seasons is over, cup locked away nicely and pitch repairs underway, just wondering when club usually announce preseason friendlies and wondering if our cup win may entice a couple of glamour friendlies..... saintbear
A decent home game for a change top 6 in England please no more low profile this has been going on for to long now and please not Forfar etc again this season
lethamsaintee
Can see there being little in the way of Friendlies this time round. A wee weekend double header in England somewhere would be good and a decent home game for Ando's Testimonial.
Aitchy
Heard we were looking to play York City and Rotherham away in pre season, however would imagine that might change now that we are in Europe. ryangordon86

ryangordon86
York would be awesome. Make a few days of it. Do the tourist stuff and then half an hour to Leeds for a wander around the shops.

Inchcolm
I cannae be arsed wi friendlies if I was being honest  To honest our friendlies will not be about the fans or money it will be about getting the team and formation ready for the European qualifiers. Aitchy
Seems like we are indeed playing York City, however its going to be at home instead of away. Game scheduled for Saturday 19th of July.
ajs
Likely to be a team of fringe/youth players, similar to Morecambe last July
ex-montrosesaintee
Lomas might bring his Millwall side up to Perth......oh..... Seannachie, AthensSaint, rik2304 and 2 others
Saintdunc
Rotherham would be great. Led by that huge tub of lard and ex Saintee, Steve Evans, they have a great stadia and are going places. Oh and it's 5 minutes from my house.
Grovesred
It is indeed Saints v York City on July 19th, the second leg of City's mini-tour, the first being at Raith Rovers on Tues July 15th. It looked to have been scuppered by Saints having a European game on the Thursday, but then it was suddenly on again, so I guess Saints won't be putting out a first team. Nigel Worthington and Tommy Wright go back a long way, having played together for NI a number of times. The following Wednesday City play Hull, so playing the Scottish Cup winners and the FA Cup runners-up within five days of each other will be an interesting test. Rankrotten
Can't we invite our Turkish pals over for a kick-about and show them OUR trophy? I'm sure that game would draw a great crowd. daanaemac and 55saint

Spill the beans, who is it?  Looks like it's a popular trip amongst City fans, though I think a lot haven't yet twigged that it won't be a first team affair for Saints. Some are predicting a City following of around 300.

(Assuming it's the home leg).
