Perth Bouncers

Guy on the door when I worked in a pub in Edinburgh was nothing to look at - under 6 foot, stick thin and ginger to boot

He was however a black belt in 4 or 5 different martial arts and a registered instructor in most if not all of them

I'll never forget him dealing with 4 massive SA rugby fans - 3 of them leaving rather sheepishly carrying their mate after they misjudged him

You knew it had been a good night in the Yorkie when you ended up out the tradesmen entrance next to the ex-service mans rather then the front door at York Place. I was lucky, as Rickardo's Head used to open the emergency door and I was bundled out second after trying to save his arse.

Trying to remember the bouncer at the club that was attached, round the side of The Waverley ???

Chequers bar went through many bouncers, got to the point where they actually hired the main troublemakers on the door. For a short time they had Mick,Con and Jumbo Kelly bouncing but that backfired, then they had Canadian John  (Henderson). Like the Yorkie they ended up hiring doormen from falkirk but shut soon after.
