Livingston had the second worst performing goalkeeper in the league but look at how their form has rocketed since they replaced him with simply an average keeper. In my opinion, Saints would be up to 12 points better off with.an average goalkeeper, which I think would offer a far truer reflection on our performances this season. Blind loyalty to a massively underperforming goalkeeper from both the management and the support only holds the team back.

And the reverse is, if our forwards stopped squandering double figure chances every game and our defenders stopped parting like the Dead Sea giving opposition players so many clear chances, how many more points would we have? It is a team game and constantly slaughtering individual players rather than getting behind them does the club no good whatsoever.

Let's enjoy the win and not get carried away 5 points off 6th and 5 points off bottom a lot of work yet to be done, Celebrate a good win but especially celebrate a clean sheet

Just imagine how we would have been feeling tonight after draw or defeat. I was worried when we kept giving free kicks near our penalty area after the 2 late goals they best us with at Midden.

I actually quite enjoyed that. Thought it was our best overall defensive showing this season and on another day, we could have had 3 or 4. Rooney at RWB might not provide as much going forward as Danny Mc but you basically have 4 big defenders to cover when under pressure and he’s still capable of contributing in attack. That might actually be something that adds a bit of extra stability to the back 5. big Zander didn’t have a real save to make but I still thought he was excellent today. He really dominated his box for 90 minutes for the first time in a long time and it’s no coincidence we didn’t concede with him doing that. No real failures today, only change I’d make next game would be Liam for Bryson.

I’ve given big Zander Clark a lot of stick lately but he commanded his area better than he has at any point over the last 12-18 months for me today. That inspires confidence in the defence and it showed today. Well done Zander.

Don't know why everyone is raving about Shanklands goal. I thought Chris Kanes tricky little dragback through his own legs right on the touchline was a far superior piece of skill.

Clark is a keeper who has went through a bad patch to say he is a poor keeper is about as daft a statement as you have made ina long time and there have been a few.
