ejksjfc
Just read the article in today's Daily Retard profiling "top six keepers". Craig Gordon and Joe Lewis I can accept are good goalies. However we have 2 keepers on our books better than the other 4 in the article, Foderingham at The The, Cerny at Fartick, Marciano at Hibs and Bain at Scumdee. Foderingham was given 9 out of 10 in three of the four categories FFS. I would rather have either ALan or Zander over any of them although I do accept Gordon and Lewis (and possibly Bain) are decent keepers. Just the usual crap from the Retard. rik2304
I'd have Cerny over Mannus or Clark.
Stumpy1949
I'd have Cerny over Mannus or Clark. Only if you were winning 1 - 0 with 10 mins to go and we got a goal kick. Then I know we would definitely win. templeofsaints, David123 and Born2Bru

Every team does it. Macca loves to timewaste. Lee Croft was a master as well.
ejksjfc
I have never rated Cerny, Foderingham is a calamity waiting to happen (the sooner the better) and Marciano is average at best.
Oldermoresensiblepack
Foderingham got 9/10? For what? An e.glish zibby malkovsky (sp) a bombscare. Agree would hae alan or zander well afore him. In fact would put in the young fellae Sinclair rather than him. RandomGuy
Cerny is a great keeper, so agile. No way should there be a top six which excludes both our keepers though.
Templar Saint
Alan Mannus was certainly not top six today with his poor attempt to prevent first goal. He gifted it to the Dee player.
Stumpy1949
Yes he was at fault at their first goal, but the mark of a good goalie is the way they recover from their mistakes and I think he went on to have a very good game. I think if you looked at every game the top six would change week by week. I am very happy with Alan Mannus.

I do not think he commands his 6 yard box or come for crosses enough and therefore the defenders have to try and clear the danger resulting in continued pressure. He's been getting better at that, tbf. Sadly he returned to it after his gift for the first goal.
mad saints fan
Mannus isn't the keeper he was say 3-4 years ago. It's almost like he's lost a touch of confidence or he's become complacent. His palming shots away into dangerous areas frightens me, it's almost like he prefers to palm than to catch now. saintj
I haven't seen the list but there are a few I'd have ahead of Gordon. He isn't the goalie he once was, he's had a good few howlers this season already.
rik2304
Mannus is like a Fifa 17 keeper. Makes a worldy one minute then palms a trundler back out into the six yard box a minute later.
OldPoster
I would say that Zander will get his chance next week - Not catching the ball and palming things away has been an issue of Mannus for the past few weeks
Stumpy1949
I thought he should have clutched that shot from Boyle in the Hibs game instead of palming it over the bar and there was the one at killie when the boy must have been at least 6 feet away why palm it away why not catch it. I think of all the games I've seen this season that is the only goal you could definitely blame Mannus. So all this talk of dropping him is insane. Tranmere Saintee
Is it something to do with the current balls that keepers seem to want to push/punch the ball away rather than catching it or is it just the fashion?
Tranmere Saintee
Was it not made a bookable offence if a keeper comes off his line at a penalty?
HOODLUM65
In the 'Well v Dons game, keeper has gifted two goals to 'Well. Manus's error last week not looking too bad eh!
Oldmuirton
Zander is a great keeper waiting patiently in the wings for Alan to slip up. He slipped up badly last Saturday. What does it tell Zander if he is still on the sidelines this week? Everyone acknowledges that we have two great keepers of virtually equal standing and that's what keeps them on their toes.Even Mannus and Clark acknowledge that they know they can't afford a mistake or they lose their place. In all fairness, Clark must get his chance this week.

Zander would be my no.1 but i disagree , You cant just drop players after every single mistake, players need a run in the team and if mistakes continue the make the change HOODLUM65
