And just because he's an old pro, cup final, 10 year vet of SJFC..... we are not getting value for money from him, We could get two players for his wages. Too many people get moist for certain players - face facts: THE CLUB COMES FIRST, ALL PLAYERS ARE MERELY EMPLOYEES As a matter of interested how do you know what midge's wages are, even if you could get 2 players for his wages I know they would not be good, professional or have his leadership and organisational qualities Just to clarify it was not me that said Derry was a carthorse. tucker
I believe midge took a good pay cut to remain at the club same as mannus, still our best midfielder for holding and controlling games

541ntees
You'd need to ask TW why he took Midge off but i would describe someone who didnt always put in 100% effort but could add a bit of magic to a game - that certainly is not Midge! Probably not. “But I wanted another striker on after going a goal down early on. “Millar has a big part to play here between now and the end of the season. SaintJet
Many thanks to the powers that be for changing the title; I'm sure a lot of people on here appreciate this gesture. Also Rick 2304 is a decent poster and I'm sure his thread starter was an error of judgement on his part. Lets move on. Folk are saying he wasn't the worst player and there were others that could have come off. The manager saw it otherwise which is fine, it's his call. Hes still a very effective player for us, whether he's here long term or not. He ran the game at Ibrox when we won 3-1, one of his few starts, and our best result of the season. dave mc, tucker and MySpazz 2

So much so , that his contract was renewed/extended* (delete as appropriate). MySpazz

blueheaven
McInnes is a great fit for West Brom but I'd be fairly surprised if Aberdeen came in for Tommy.

Saintdunc
How about TW being moved to the new DoF role with Callum and Clelland or Macca taking over the managerial/coaching roles? That would allow TW's legendary status to remain mostly intact. Edited April 3, 2018 by Saintdunc

Tommy old pal Steve loans is still unemployed maybe he could do the recruitment role. Edited April 3, 2018 by mainstand Saintdunc
