SaintinReading
What is it with the poor deluded Rangers fans?? Can they not see what’s going on? Come to think of it they didn’t see the last one coming they aren’t going to see this one coming. Maybe the answer to this lays in one of their songs. Follow Follow that’s what they do . Sheep mentality following blindly in to the abattoir poor wee lambs to the slaughter. I had a discussion on twitter well an attempt at a discussion on twitter with a Rangers fan. I could tell she was a Rangers fan as all she was interested in was match attendances and bumping her gums about things that the old club won in the past. The scary thing is the Rangers fans I know can talk about football but as soon as you bring Rangers in to it something happens like they have been hypnotised they change immediatly in to GerClones and all rational goes out the window. This seems to be a trate that they have in common with Ross County fans but thats a discussion for another day. It seems that the Rangers prediction of all the clubs will go bust without them has not come to the fore I am still waiting for FIFA to announce an end to world football because Rangers were disrespected. Anyways I am sitting back and waiting for the explosion about November December time . Wendy Saints
saintcraigieboy
Read about where their 22 million had been spent. But was interesting there was no mention of last seasons season Ticket money in the breakdown. Where has this gone? Same old moaning cheating Feckers. Also note that when you win the third division you get 5 stars on your jersey! SEVCO WE HAVEN'T AND WONT FORGET, YOU ARE NOW THE RANGERS WITH NO HISTORY!!!! fazman1977
In fairness, though, it said that only 5 of the 12 Scottish Premiership teams took part in the survey. So 60% is three clubs. I think Scottish Football has a long way to go yet. However, the SPL was a refreshing place last term without The Forces of Darkness and, given their neanderthal comments during Saint's euro run, will remain bright without them and their bigoted views. If Saints can find a bit of dig across the park and sharpness up front then 2nd place is by no means a pipe dream. Wendy Saints

Abernethy Saint
http://www.celticquicknews.co.uk/ Never heard of this site, no idea if it has any credibility, but this is being talked about all over the net. I was going to say this explains everything, but actually it's just a continuation of the Green and Whyte shite. This is not about football - this is asset-stripping at it's worst (or best if you like). You almost feel sorry for them...........NAAAAAAAH. Oh let's all build on Rangers.................. glenrothes saintee
I could be wrong, but I'm sure I read on another site that the land that Murray Park is on can only be used for sports facilities and that no housing etc can be built on it. ex-montrosesaintee
I could be wrong, but I'm sure I read on another site that the land that Murray Park is on can only be used for sports facilities and that no housing etc can be built on it. I has certain restrictions on it that would not permit redevelopment. However, these would have been appropriate at the time, but planning is a rolling replacement type of thing - new Local Plans every 5 years. Things change, and the surrounding area, and priorities for efficient land use have changed significantly since Murray Park was built. So yeah, it has restrictions, but that doesn't mean they couldn't be rescinded. The risk for any investor would be significant, however, unless they had bought it for next to nothing............ SaintinReading
The Rangers the club that keep Giving GLASGOW businessman Sandy Easdale, who is bidding to become Rangers’ biggest shareholder has rubbished reports that he is still involved in criminal activity. Easdale, who along with his brother James owns Greenock coach firm McGill’s Buses, said that claims he was linked to gangsterism were ‘trash’ and stressed that his aim was to help put the club back on its feet financially. The bus tycoon, who bought close to £500,000 worth of Rangers shares last week to add to the £1 million stake his family has in the club said he had no links with organised crime.Speaking to a Sunday newspaper, Easdale said: “I have not been involved in crime for 16 years since I was jailed. If I was involved in all the things I’m rumoured to be involved in, I would be on some sort of Interpol list.”The millionaire was sentenced to 27 months in prison for non-p...ayment of VAT in 1997, serving one year, but says his businesses, which employ over 1000 people, were set up legitimately.Along with his brother, Easdale intends to transfer his business acumen to the club to financially stabilise Rangers. He added: “You are not going to invest in Rangers to make money right away. I see the sense in doing it for the long term.”He also revealed that he had agreed to buy the majority of the stake held by Charles Green - the current largest shareholder - whose return in a consultant role has angered a number of Ibrox fans. Easdale argued that Rangers supporters should be grateful to Green, and also to ex-director Imran Ahmad, for taking the club through the takeover and raising over £20 million on the stock market.Easdale said that Rangers was ‘still there today thanks to their ingenuity,’ claiming that in buying the club, they took a risk that some ‘including Paul Murray’s Blue Knights’ didn’t.However, fans have rounded on Green following his outspoken comments regarding manager Ally McCoist, while Ahmad is now planning to sue the club for £3.4 million. Ibrox chief executive Craig Mather called Green’s outburst ‘immoral and unethical’, with Green’s role at the club to be discussed at a board meeting this week. The club’s three main supporters’ groups have all called on Rangers to sever ties with Green, who resigned his position as chief executive in April this year amidst claims about his association with former owner Craig Whyte.Meanwhile, Easdale appears unconcerned about news of takeover bids, with Clyde Blowers chief Jim McColl and former director Paul Murray rumoured to be interested in bidding. The bus boss reckons any offer submitted by McColl and Murray would be unable to match the finances the board could raise Edited August 21, 2013 by SaintinReading
AthensSaint
McGill's co-owner Sandy Easdale was convicted of fraud in 1997, having been sentenced to 27 months at Croydon Crown Court for VAT fraud, prior to the creation of the firm. Later rumours linking him to organised crime have been dismissed by Scottish Traffic Commissioner Joan Aitken.[8][19]
