rik2304
All managers bring in shite from time to time. As well as bringing in quality. MOH,Dunne,Easton,Wotherspoon have been excellent signings. Also, it was Tommy who wanted to play May. He'd have been away on loan again under Lomas. This summers problems were not down to Wright and if things had happened differently then instead of Morgan/Lappin/Graham it could have been Craig/Goodwillie/Dunne. saintscotty

ancientsaint
To be honest you buy the class of player that the money you are given by the Chairman dictates. Said around Christmas that Stevie May was not in favour at Sheffield and we all know what he could do for Saints -a 6 month loan would have rebuilt his confidence. sixties saintee

Jimmy Wallace
Stevie May in a United strip would simply be impossible for me to stomach. I'd have to retire from the world and become a monk.
Steve Zissou
Really don't think Sheffield Wednesday would see the point in sending him on loan to Scotland where they know he can score anyway.
Inchcolm
More likely if they no longer rated him they would sell him to recoup their outlay. If Celtic are planning to buy up all the good young Scottish players he could end up there.

Jimmy Wallace
They may be on the wind up but Eric Nicholson has a piece in the Courier today about the same subject. It's an opinion piece and may not reflect the club's thinking, but it is obviously on some minds in the land of the ged.

Broon
I'm not sure Stevie could play for another club - he's already played for 2 clubs this season so the loan deal to anyone was out of the question. As for Wednesday, I'm sure they still believe in Stevie May. He's taken some time to settle, his team have been poor by all accounts and he's still young. I'm sure given a 2nd season he'll take his chance. Would be a bit short sighted to not give him time.
