The saltires must go, kit is otherwise poor but entirely within the realms of acceptability.

Morton fans managed to get a change to their kit, maybe those itk posters could do something similar for us.

Anyone else wondering if preventing that kind of fan reaction being feasible is part of the reason why we have the kit so late?

Had thought of this in relation to the Morton uprising, however I feel that any protest would ultimately fall on deaf ears.

Doesn't sound like Kappa are much better http://www.glentoran.com/news/new-season-kit-release

Gary I am in the process of buying a load of kit from Joma and there delivery times are good, 5 days from date of delivery for off the shelf kit. The delay in getting the strip out was, as far as I am led to believe, nothing to do with Joma. The strip design was late in being signed off.

As of last Wednesday the strips were not even in the country, so well done to TTL for getting them badged up and out to Saints in time for a photshoot last week/weekend.

Also the strip will probably look a lot different in the shop, you can't see it in the photo but the white down either side apparently joins up across the base of the strip.

Interesting reading the comments on Facebook on the new Celtic black kit which varied from superb to "looks like an amateur team strip" and "looks cheap and nasty". So I don't think we are the only team with adverse comments on strips.

Think the top looks majorly cheap and junior league looking. I wouldn't even consider buying it.

All credit to a local business fully supporting their local club, but surely it would of been a great time to get a new logo designed to go along with the increased awareness the business will get with sponsorship. Theres tons of top designers out there that could of made up a logo that reflected better on the business and in fact on the strip itself.
