Widge
Does the kid even have a professional contract? If not there’s nothing we can even do to stop him from training and signing for another team.

Even the kids in the pro youth teams command a transfer fee even if they decide to leave or they can't sign for anyone.

The guy is a Celtic fan & his dad a youth coach so what's their problem ?. If he was a fan of any other team & he went to their final they wouldn't have batted an eyelid. SAD. RandomGuy
There's been talk on twitter for a few weeks he's negotiating his release with Rangers, but there's a sticking point over how much he's due.

cristo
Not so much any of them, but I've long been an admirer of Steven Lawless. Anyone know his contract situation/age? Random?
cristo
Also, if that had been Pars, Arabs or ICT that had come up at Partick's expense, I'd have been quite happy. Livi look horrible.

TWs talked over the past month about being close to a signing but not wanting to name him, hinting they were involved in the play-offs, and talked about a left winger as his priority. Certainly seems plausible. cristo

Agreed, according to Allan Preston on Sportsound Alexander had studied Sammon's penalty against us and as soon as he began his run up knew exactly where he was going to put it. Yup, would have been announced earlier but as you say the playoffs - Did think he would do a Brittain if they stayed up though

I think Sammon was someone who we were all in agreement about. Totally out of his depth in SPFL. Surely destined as a squad player for a League 1 team. garydavidson
From the Daily Record via the BBC "Rangers winger Michael O'Halloran admits he was wrong to sit with Celtic fans during the Scottish Cup final, after a photo emerged on social media of the out-of-favour Ibrox man surrounded by Hoops supporters. O'Halloran held talks with Motherwell in January, and the player's agent, Kenny Moyes, says he was at Hampden Park to watch the Steelmen in the final. Moyes insists "Michael didn't realise he would be surrounded by Celtic fans...and he now regrets the decision as he accepts it doesn't look too good."" Would rather he went to England. Unless he just constantly has off days against us.

MrBored
I reckon a lot comes down to whether Fulham get promoted. They win the play off then realistically they will be concentrating on a higher quality player than Williams and he may get cut. Lose the play off and they might think he can make a contribution in the Championship.
