Usually his wage would be more than our whole squad, but he hasn't had a club for over a year, and might be willing to play until January to then get a more lucrative move elsewhere. The 3 takes a lot of the strain of a defence and his experience can only help, especially of Gordon is out for a spell. Having to rely on young lads for two of the back three full time would be too much probably. Also means we don't have to rush Gordon back. Wonder how fit he is?
