fazman1977
Sound like this Morris Flood is a right old wanker and dictator. How long has he held the post of Chairman, and how long are you PERMITTED to hold the post of Chairman so that it doesn't turn into a dictatorship. The club is in a great wee spot in the town - private parking, etc. No reason how it shouldn't be promoted more, used more and the money used to improve the facilities. If the stumbling block is the committee, then that's just sad.

AthensSaint
The saints club ain't exactly the Ritz either lets be honest The Barossa Club is a wee bit dated but on my last visit on 16th May 2014 it was rocking. Most of the time it is not the place but it is the people that make it. Corinna was a hovel last time I ventured inside. Wouldn't be my choice. Don't get railroaded. THE LARK SAINT
The Corinna is for tinks.John, when was the last time you were in the Corinna? Your comments are crass unfounded and uncalled for. Not a regular by any means but i have attended many a gig hosted by Stevie W. All trouble free and great nights with no tinks as you call them. Not sure i even aprove of that term anyway. croc and soupy76

HOODLUM65
The Corinna is for tinks. Report on the front page of todays Courier that a Perth pensioner was removed from his home and spent a night in Police cell, when neighbours overheard him in his garden, "that's the tinks got the shed up". He was admonished after being charged with a "hate crime". Talk about a Police state? This new Police chief has too much power. THE LARK SAINT
I have not been well so bit late in posting this Just like to say a big thank you for all the "Tink" ect comments.Good job folks, Thanks very much! Any chance of a re think are well and truly screwed . This as a copy from Derek's Facebook page Makes us look really bad, so thanks again. Very recently I was delighted to have had several very good meetings with the Barossa Street Saints Club Committee, at their request, to discuss a potential move round the corner to my bar and music venue the Corinna. I hasten to say this was all at their request and after placing a very, very good package on the table which was both monetary and of an incentive nature the committee decided to stay at the Barossa Club which I fully respected and thanked them for their time and consideration. My team and I at Corinna conducted ourselves with respect and kindness which cannot be said for those shown on this attachment commenting on my establishment as "a hovel" and "for tinks". My great staff and I neither sought or deserve such treatment for simply trying, when asked, to assist the committee to make sure the club had a home for future. Such rhetoric is simply not acceptable to me hence the offer I made the Barossa Street Committee and the subsequent club is retracted with immediate effect and will not be tabled again in future. This development disappoints me but I will not have my establishment spoken of in such a manner. Regards Derek Petterson Garry McConnell There only one arena and that's the ****ing corrina! I used to have the opinion years ago that the corina was 'rough' I have however been at a fair few events held through the back in last few years, and is 2nd to none for a venue, my mate who is a DJ was also highly impressed with the sound system in place. Staff were friendly and so were the locals. 11 December at 18:57 · Like · 4 Scott Davidson Good on you deek 11 December at 18:57 · Like · 2 Derek Petterson Your our best customer Gazza x 11 December at 19:00 · Like · 1 Dan Shek Derek Petterson I was one that was wanting to move to the Corinna 11 December at 19:01 · Like · 1 Scott McGoldrick Wouldn't say it's a place for tinks, Corinna has shirt sponsored my football team and we have had a few team nights out where your team there have been excellent. byebyedundee
Part of St.Johnstone 's problems apart from the club is some of the supporters,.,.... A move to a new venue would of been fresh , and very beneficial to the supporters as Barossa has taken advantage of this gauranteed income whereas The Corinna which may in the past had it's moments with trouble etc would of been better... i feel sorry for the owner who just wanted the support so bad they would of bent over backwards to ensure a happy atmosphere... saintee4life
Havnt been in the corina for at least 15 years so in no position to comment. It did have a reputation way back then for being a bit of a rough house and frequented by undesirables. I think if I was in the owners shoes I wouldve been even more determined to accommodate the barossa saints and show them that in no way is this establishment full of "tinks"
