Indicator
You have to admit they have hit the nail on the head though. And so many regulatory bodies within, and outwith, the game in Scotland hold a similar point of view. john.w
According to the BBC a director at sevco made 230,000 grand last yeat plus a 53,000 bonus and sevco 3.3m in the hole beggars belief Edited January 5, 2017 by john.w
Abernethy Saint
Not if you understand that the whole and only point of Sevco has been to make easy money for a small number of asset strippers and profiteers.

Cagey
Celtic about to make at least £20 mill on Dumbelly & another £5mll for Van Dyke. Sevco or any other team are not going to compete with Celtic & they will be in the CL for the foreseeable ,earning even more money. Not good for Scottish football. Abernethy Saint
I'd settle for it if they did really well in the CL, for the sake of the co-efficient. Another way of looking at it is it makes them more attractive to the EPL or the Fabled Atlantic Leafue or whoever, and we could be rid of it. But in reality it's pretty hopeless for Scottish football. uphallsaint
541ntees
celtic fans were 50/50 over dembele or the thumb starting against rangers . what makes dembele so much more valuable? surely they cant knock back 20million

Will be no different to the way Scottish football has been for the last 20 years, except it's one team dominating instead of two. Indicator
Current table would appear to show things on their way back to the old status quo. How they've managed P2 with that squad though is beyond me. They just grind out results including beating clubs in the bottom six and of course... their manager wears a magic hat. south inch
celtic fans were 50/50 over dembele or the thumb starting against rangers . what makes dembele so much more valuable? surely they cant knock back 20million Pal of mine, Celtic ST holder, says the only reason they'll knock back £20m is if they think they can get £25m. He is resigned to Dembele going, can't take the risk that he might pick up a bad injury in his next match! My pal's main worry is that selling Dembele might encourage bids for Tierney (once fit) and possibly Sinclair and Armstrong. He also expects Rodgers to take the first decent offer he gets after Celtic are knocked out of next seasons European Cup. If that happens we could see The The back in what they see as their rightful place sooner than we currently think.

south inch
Other managers are available. True, in fact very true, every half decent vacancy attracts 50+ applications before the departing guy has left the building. How many will be of the same quality as Rodgers though? Tom English said when he came that his appointment was a genuine coup the only downside being that great will be the wailing and grinding of teeth when he goes. Cagey
The The sign a goalie for £250 k. Wanted to pay over 3 years but Port Vale were not happy. Must have changed there mind. Should have listened to people who said they would never get their money.
Abernethy Saint
Vale openly and publicly said pay all of it up front or no deal because "we don't trust Rangers to pay up". Looks like wee Port Vale could teach the SFA a few things.

They’ve had enough of financing rank-rotten regimes. So they stay away. They ask rival fans to stay away. They use the media to raise awareness of just how bad their exiled, don’t-give-a-damn owners are, not just for their own clubs, but for the game itself. But your Rangers fan? He just rings up a phone-in and shouts about history and culture and 54 titles and how WeArraPeepel." HOODLUM65 and Cagerf
