Bruno Strasser
Great Result and a great team performance. As stated already TW had his tactics spot on and Aberdeen were ,made to look very ordinary.

Almost the same as United last season - once TW susses them out tactically the players seem to get that extra bit of confidence and belief. Pelosi
BBC Alba have extended highlights of yesterdays game versus Aberdeen at 22:00pm until 23:00pm tonight if you are looking for slightly longer coverage than Sportscene.

PerthSeany
Alba highlight are poor & I can`t understand a word. They are doing the rugby with English commentary on the red button soon. They may follow suit for the football.

Cagey
Watched the goal again. Nice wee dummy from McDonald or was he just trying to avoid the ball again.

I think you are right...looks like a very clever run and dummy from GMac...great to see. Neither were pens for me
jhq
Funny to hear them discussing Pawlett's dive on sportscene and whether it merited a yellow card. If he'd been booked for his earlier, much worse dive he might have got a red for that one.
cultmaster
I thought Midgy was brilliant on Saturday, he is playing out his skin at the moment and I feel a lot of credit has to go to the back four and Brown and McDonald as they are allowing Midge to have a fairly free role up and down the park knowing they are the security behind him. I feel we play better with the three in the middle as against Ross County and obviously on Saturday. When we play with 2 centre midfields we are in danger of being over run as against Hamilton gang last week. SaintDougie

Whilst he was getting booked he was claiming to ref that it should have been a corner. Thomson just laughed at him. First time I have never given Thomson a hard time in a game. PerthSeany
I thought the ref did fine. I liked to see him laughing with Macca. whereas collum would of been grumpy and serious.

Aye Thomson wiz saying " I got ye the day, jist like on Cup final day" So they both had a laugh. Macca better be careful if he starts scoring regularly. Wink, wink. Macca better be careful if he starts scoring regularly. Wink, wink. Was just thinking that myself! Copy of final celebration and booking involving same characters. Did Macca do it to remind us or for aberdeens benefit?

garydavidson
St Johnstone striker Steven MacLean has been fined by his club having picked up a booking for hauling off his top to celebrate his late weekend winner against Aberdeen. (Daily Express, print edition) Is it Steve Brown or Super Dave that collected the fine?
