Abernethy Saint
Does anyone know which round we would enter at? Scotland's co-efficient is so bad now that I think all 3 teams go in at the 1st round. We definitely would as the lowest qualifier.
Templar Saint
Scotland's co-efficient is so bad now that I think all 3 teams go in at the 1st round. We definitely would as the lowest qualifier. Surely our history of European appearances of late would make our co-efficient higher than that of THE THE who are first time qualifiers. south inch
If we hold on to qualify, instead of Armenia or Siberia just for once could we not be drawn against the Pontypridd Girl Guides or the Limerick Mothers Union in the 1st round? Abernethy Saint
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017–18_UEFA_Europa_League This seems to confirm Round 1 for the qualifiers from the league. Scotland is hovering around the cut-off point for the Cup winners to get into the 2nd round (25th), so it depends when the cut off date was/is. Your entry level is determined by the National co-efficient. Seeding is by club co-efficient. http://www.ecaeurope.com/tabbed-content/competition-access-list-tabbed-content/country-access-list-el/ This seems to confirm in fact all three will be round one. Saints are currently ranked 215th in Europe, with a score of 6.535. Sevco will carry nil, as they haven't been in Europe for so long, but would pick up I think the National element of the co-efficient if they qualified. Suffice to say they won't be seeded in Round 1, we will probably again be hovering around the cut-off point for seeding. And yes, I do have far too much time on my hands. The only restriction I can see is you can't be drawn against a team from your own country. So why not? If we hold on to qualify, instead of Armenia or Siberia just for once could we not be drawn against the Pontypridd Girl Guides or the Limerick Mothers Union in the 1st round? Abernethy Saint
Nice are currently sitting third in the French league, following a one-all draw with Toulouse, so may be in the CL, or will enter the Europa League long after we're knocked out. You need to be more realistic, I think. sleepless, 541ntees, Cagey and 1 other
