Like a lot of things this Ref. & his henchmen did. Free kicks for Boyd falling down and 2 bookings for innocuous looking 1st fouls committed by Saints players.

Couldn't wait to flash the cards.

Allowed Boyd to foul consistently, without being carded.

Allowing play to carry on, on at least 3 occasions when the ball was over the sideline, with Killie in possession.

Despite this the better team won.

Have just read the comments from Boyd re Saints and winning dirty tactics, unbelievable!! Boyd is one sore loser and I have always disliked his greetin pus ; well you know what Boyd, Saints scored two cracking goals, stuck to the task even when Killie put the pressure on and the end result was 3 points for the team who play for each other. Killie are fast becoming the mini gers

I agree about the wall at the free kick. It was poor. The gap between Paton and Spoony was bad and it's where Mannus should have been if he had set it up that way. It was a decent drive from Boyd but not the absolute thunderbolt being made out. Mannus takes the blame for it all for me. He made up for it later with a couple of cracking saves though.

Can't believe so little is being said about Muzz's shot from the edge of the centre circle. When you see it from behind the goal he knew exactly what he was doing. It was an absolute cracker and unfortunate not to go in. If a more high profile player/club had tried that it would be all over the place.

MOH's winner certainly is though. Good to see it getting UK coverage and with little or no reference to his parent club only Saints!

Muzz had 2 shots from distance that caused problems, both of which were meant. Hopefully a sign of things to come. Hopefully Spoony carries on as he has started this season as well & you never know where it will take us.

He definitely meant it. I just had another look and even the side view shows him obviously shooting.

Don't know how that reply went to hoodlum.

As for shooting from the centre circle he was 10 yards into there half when he hit it. New specs required.  9

Aye, but the edge of the centre circle is 10 yards into the half.

But according to the stats in the daily record saints only had 2 shots at goal and that was the goals:roll:
