HOODLUM65
Haven't read anywhere that Fraz has signed the terms offered to him!! Presume these would be reduced terms due to appearances etc. May get better offer elsewhere.

Inchcolm
From the BBC "Steve Banks has been offered a full-time coaching role by St Johnstone, with fellow goalkeeper Zander Wright being promoted to the first-team squad after his loan spell with Queen of the South." I suppose we got a mention, we should be grateful. They really do hate us though. Disappointed the last thing we need is an other defensive or goal keeping coach. We need a coach for our attacking players. 2 goalkeepers and 2 fullbacks for our coaching staff surely someone can this has its downfalls. Nothing against Banks but sentiment cannot come into running a business.
dave mc
TW on audio boom saying we're after another striker and wide left player, also Mikey has been offered an extension of his contract, and s till waiting on Frazer getting back to us
mainstand
Inchcolm are you having a laugh? Do you want our goalies to be coached by a striker? Banks is already the Clubs goalkeeping coach. You are right sentiment has no place in football but a goalkeeping coach is essential.

Thinking of how to improve the team with the least cost. Are you of the opinion our attacking players do not need an offensive coach. Look at our lack of goals
Jiangsu Sainty
In my (limited) experience coaching goalkeepers is a nearly full-time job, they are almost always separate from outfield players. TW couldn't do both jobs just cos he was a keeper

Inchcolm
I agree with the comments. Goalkeeping coach is a specialist coach and requires someone with goalkeeping experience and an ability to coach. And that is my point about an attacking coach. Quotes TW cannot coach specific roles he has to look at the big picture. A striker cannot coach a goalkeeper. What makes supporters think it is ok for a goalkeeper and two full backs to coach our attacking players. Surely the same rule must apply. Our goals scored last season proves we need an attacking coach. Our goalkeeping and full back coaches have given us a wonderful defensive team but is that it, attacking players are left to fend for themselves. Cagey
Dons need a new goalkeeping coach after McInness sacked Leighton. oldsaintee
Pat McGroin
I think you need to balance our overall goal difference. TW identified we were weak in attack and focused on our strengths. Many managers wouldn't have done this. I don't believe it's coaching related. We coached a striker to 20+ goals the season before.
mainstand
Cagey I have seen some comments that Colin Meldrum is lined up for the dons post. To suggest that TW could take the goalies is expecting far too much. The goalies are out before the rest of the squad working with the coach and often still doing their own stuff after the players have finished. The idea of a striker coach is obviously something TW has looked at bringing in the goat last year for a spell But don't see why Clelland, Davidson and TW can work with the strikers. Inchcolm
Maybe Im being blind and missing it, but the clubs offered Michael O'Halloran an extension to his contract My read on it he has taken the extension to the end off 2015/2016, the club are now offering a new contract to end of 2017. Which would make sense because if he has another good season scoring 10 goal teams would come sniffing around at Christmas trying to sign him for peanuts. Inchcolm
I believe the extension for games played is on his original contract. Therefore he did not sign a new contract when he and the club took up the extension clause. If there is a delay it could be about an increase in salary or how many left sided midfield players come in. He does not seem to be happy sitting on the bench or being subed. No player is happy on the bench or being subbed, but, unless he signs for a lower league team, as a player you're never guaranteed a start. He'd be better staying where he is with us for another season or 2, finding his feet, developing as a player, claiming a first team start, then moving on. If he wanted too. krm81
I wouldn't be surprised if it's Dundee United that the East Fife defender is signing for, especially since Fojut appears to be leaving them.
