Widge
Steven Doris just released by Dundee, surely a decent option for a back up striker. I cannot work out, if folk on this forum actually watch football or still think we're in the first division given some of the suggestions. I mean Doris, wow just wow. League 1 player at best. garydavidson
The Real Saints
Have to say that, although it maybe didn't work out for El Alagui at Dundee United, he is a very good striker and would be a huge improvement on the recent 'big men' we have had as back-up options. The Real Saints
Would that not also be the case if we exhumed a corpse and played it upfront? Absolutely, but I'd suggest that we start him 'in the hole'. He has plenty of experience there. lang toon saintie
We have no shite strikers or wide midfielders at the moment. I am sure that this problem is being urgently addressed as it has become a tradition that we must have at lest one of the fore mentioned at the club at all times. dunkeldneil
Cant understand why James Dunn would prefer to play to Portsmouth in the eng second division rather than saints especially after playing in the Scottish cup final how many big games will he be playing in eng div

jhq
Also, the lure of playing in front of bigger crowds. Portsmouth fans are among the most passionate in the country, considering their lack of success. I've seen games on the telly where they've been 4-0 down with a few minutes left and their fans are still belting it out. They've stuck behind their club during their troubles too. PerthSeany
Pretty sure we'll sign another CM tbh Why would we let Cregg go if we were going to sign another cm? Cregg was allowed to go to allow younger players a chance according to TW.

I just think that we need one more experienced CM. I'm not convinced at all that Caddis is ever going to realise his potential, Muzz's return has been delayed. This leaves us with Millar and MacDonald with Brown as back-up. I'd have liked us to hang on to Cregg, but like Dunne he's not irreplaceable. rik2304
TW punted Cregg but wanted to keep Dunne. As he has missed out on Dunne it seems likely he will want to bring someone in.
ajs
It isn't as if Dunne rejected us, Portsmouth bidded for him. We didn't. Cagey

Shaggy Jenkins
David Badfanny, nope, nope, nope. No doubt there is a decent player there, but another one of many Scottish kids who have just thrown it away, obvioulsy Tommy has met him and knows him better and thinks he nurture him. Honestly think it will be a nother Riorden timebomb.
dunkeldneil
If dunne moved to Portsmouth beacase he wanted to be closer to family rather han money etc then that's fair enough
