Cagey
Well that was embarrassing on national telly. No pace no midfield ,poor defence, goalie helps them on the way as usual.Hartley outthinks zTommy again by filling the midfield & playingone up front.Tommy seems unable to see it & his sub'sare strange ,& too late.If he doesn't get it sorted we are in trouble.Unfortunately we don't have a Hemmings &Harkins. Eduardo
Fisher apart all the players should hold their heads in shame tonight. I think a squad clear out is required. Players like Mackay,Scobbie,Wotherspoon and Maclean etc should maybe move on

Kilgour
The only Saintees to pass muster tonight are the fans who paid to sit in the pissing rain watching our mob stroll around and not look like it mattered. Not a spark there at all.Ok both their goals were our mistakes and we might have had a pen for Cummins being held and Ando was clearly stamped on.....BUT we were shite all over the park. SlickDT
Wright must accept some of the blame this season aswell for the shape of our squad.Giving Caddis a new deal, having several defenders on the books (before Wright release) and signing of Craig whilst retaining Lappin was poor.We were desperately needing pace tonight and Thomson being kept on the bench baffles me. mike_gain
Hmm. Always try to err away from doomongering but that was dire. Team looked unfit and and everyone looked poor technically. Fisher looked to have a few sparks going forward but the lad needs to learn a bit more about defending. Not buying the loss of MOH as a cause, we have played fine without him before. Think we've missed a fit Mckay, a Wright type player on the centre and a fit Midge. Dundee's Ross was doing what our midfield weren't.Avoid relegation and build in the summer. R.B.B:- Adz
What does Tommy have to say after that then? Can't be his usual garbage about playing well but losing.. Positives to take and all that gash..Hartley will feel annoyed that Dundee didn't score 5 or 6 today nevermind cruising to 2-0. Lappin was overrun in midfield. Wotherspoon makes the wrong decison too often.Dundee CRUISED to their win tonight and I have never seen a Saints team so devoid of confidence and creative spark for a long time.. Broon
Struggling to muster any positivity about football at the minute. It's so depressing when your team is on a bad run. If you let it it would ruin your week. For that reason I'm now forgetting about football until Saturday. See you all there, full of confidence and forgetting the last 2 months ever happened. crieffsaintandy
That was total shit, the worry is we look like a team on the way down, last few seasons when we had a bad spell just felt there was still something there, now looks a bit desperate and quite few now showing a season too far and quite a few hiding.Don't know the politics in the background around the signing policy, but seems Tommy hung out to dry one time too far by Broon and the signings, although some of his line ups and tactics at time are not exactly helping, but winning the Cup and Europe and over achieving over the years will buy him more time than others would get, big summer coming up if we can dig in and stay up.Sorry Monty friggin quote button actually me taht wrote this!! Edited February 12, 2016 by crieffsaintandy Quote button a bit like the team not functioning
fifefan
Wotherspoon and the imaginery friend he keeps passing the ball to have to go on gardening leave. We brought in a new defender. Don't know if he is any good but if we signed him why is he not playing? We need Beastie and Midgey back but don't do the usual and bring them back too quickTry to ensure we stay up but bring in the young guys. Get Kane and Thomson playing regularly (for more than 10 minutes) and any other young guys that are just about ready. If the usual team are losing all the time then what does it matter if the young guys lose.Sutton is just taking up space on the bench and does nothing when he comes on. He should help Wotherspoon with the gardening.
Broon
Did think it was odd we swapped two strikers who had no service for two strikers who had no service. The problem was the midfield. Edited February 12, 2016 by Broon SlickDT
Gas Monkey
Tommy looked a beaten man in the post match interview. I can see him walking. Something is wrong when only one player comes in at a time when we desperately needed freshening up. But here is a thought, all we have heard the last few weeks is that we get punished for mistakes, individual errors costing us - maybe it's just because we are no very good. Simple as that! Getting pulled into play off position with the worst side in seasons does not bode well!!

sconesjfc
In the summer we were told Tommy was keen for youth players to step up. Where the **** are they? Nothing new about tonight's performance and as soon as the predictable line up was announced it was fairly obvious we were going to be beaten. RandomGuy
We're now in a fight for 11th. Only eight points clear and only collected two points from the last two months.Folk on about an "overhaul" are completely deluded. Cagey
Got exactly what I expected tonight. Hartley certainly knows how to outfox Tommy. The fact that we only have plan A must help. Even our kick offs are the same every week.
Wee Mental Davie
Tommy's analysis of the game, is as worrying as our plight. He reminds me of Brendan Rodgers in a sense when he has his interviews. Rodgers is always on about "Character", whereas for Tommy it's all about being "Clinical". Just hope something is done and fast. Give the squad the kick up the arse . Play Thomson, Kane, Clark and Doyle next week and make a statement to the players. At the start of the season Tommy was on about how he wanted to create competition amongst the squad in the sense that if a player isnt putting in the shift, they'll be dropped. I just don't see any proof of that. If that were the case Kane would be getting more game time as would Thomson and Clark. Shame to see young talent sitting on the bench, even more worrying to see a couple of them leave in January for the sake of first team football. Cagey
If Dundee didn't get 7 points off us they would have been 10th.Shows how important some games are. Thing is I think they have outplayed us in all 3 games.
