lethamsaintee
38 league games 4 League Cup games 5 games in the Scottish Cup 21 Europa League games Total: 68 games. Easy. I'll start saving now!
RandomGuy
Just seen on Brian Doyles Twitter that this was Steven Andersons 305th appearance for us, making him tied 5th in the all time records. And it was Chris Millars 232nd, and Mackays 218th The record appearance list is now Alan Main - 361 Drew Rutherford - 345 Charlie McFadyen - 336 Willie Coburn - 324 Steven Anderson/ Bill McCarry - 305 So he's now only 56 games away, with at least 33 still to go this season. If he plays every one of these he'll end the season in 3rd on 338, only 23 behind Main Abernethy Saint and Cagerf

Pelosi
Do we have room at the club for another Legend...I thought Roddy was holding that position at the moment! Seriously...he is heading (pardon the pun) for all time appearance record and has added goals to his game....mind you if you check Wikipedia he has to score a few more to beat his total of 27 goals in 22 games during season 2004 - 2005! Stevie May would've been proud of that! Cup final goal and heading for appearance record. Legend.

jhq
hope the club arrange some form of presentation or recognition on the day he beats the recordI'm sure they will, though if it happens in an away fixture then I'd expect it to be held back till the next home game. Bruno Strasser
What a servant he has been to the club. You forget too he was not an automatic first team choice - particularly early in in his time with us. Epitomises everything about Saints for me - not flashy but very effective and hugely popular with the Fans.
MrBored
Given what he was like when he first came here, he deserves a lot of credit in making himself the player he is now.An example to any young player who is a little 'raw' when they start out. ex-montrosesaintee and Kevin James Is On Stilts
RandomGuy
He could potentially break the record at home against Dundee United in April. A game which could potentially relegate them based on their form so far.Footballs a funny old game sometimes. Pat McGroin
to be fair he was played out of positionNot for 5 years he wasn't. Granted he was used as full back at times but he has definitely improved as a centre half. You do expect a centre half to improve with age anyway but I don't think anyone could have predicted that Ando would have managed anything like this amount of appearances. Markinch Saint
Dived in with an early challenge on Friday night that led to their goal but recovered well and didn't do too much more wrong. He also misses players Xmas weekend with a nasty gash on his leg following the dirty dee challenge that their fans were claiming a pen for. ex-montrosesaintee
Notice nobody has mentioned that tonight will be his 361st appearance, equaling Alan Main's record for the club. A big deal in these days of club hopping players on short contracts. Congratulations to Ando from me, instigator of the greatest roar a St Johnstone support has ever created. Kyle
About to become our record appearance holder (in one spell at the club as well), won the challenge cup, the 1st division, the Scottish Cup (scoring in the final and an important goal in the quarter final also), qualified for Europe 4 seasons in a row (possibly 5 depending how the end of the season goes) and a 3rd place finish in the league. The term legend is made for a guy like Ando. He's so unassuming and down to earth that it's probably not sunk in what he's achieved at our club. He's been here from the start of our golden era. helping take us from our lowest ebb in about 30 years to where we've been over the past few seasons.I know his form hasn't been as good this season, but he's been part of a fairly unsettled, new defence. If we can find the right partner for him, I'm absolutely certain he'll hit those heights again for us.Congratulations on yet another accolade Ando. Huge respect.
