They weren't particularly good at the time either but we sat in and barely registered a shot at goal all night.lets go for it this time and make it a ding dong cup tie. They're going well and got a lot of momentum, but that's against Ayr, st mirren, hibs and Alloa. sainties sheep Posted August 27, 2015 Report Share Posted August 27, 2015 A mate who's one of there faithful said today that they're a changed team going forward and its an all or nothing style Kevin Keegan way they're playing this year with the keeper taking on players at the edge of his box etc, but they leave themselves exposed at the back, are very susceptible to crosses and high balls in the box. If they lose a goal or 2 they don't have the depth of players or the character to claw it back. That said with our defence this year there attack could be an issue.Tommy needs to do his homework on this game and get it right this year. Last season was absolutely embarrassing and, as you say, they were terrible then too.They seem to be on fire at the moment but need teams to get up and at 'em. They look much improved this year and it's still debatable if we are better worse or the same as last year. A hard game but not insurmountable, this should be rangers hardest task to date not st johnstone's.
