Only been to Morton once, took the train, and the ferry, and walked for fecking miles as a kid (my dad likes to take the most ridiculous routes to games), and then it was called off at 2:30pm because the pitch was frozen.

That was around 1977/78...we ended up going to St.Mirren 3-0 Hibs when St Mirren were flying with McGarvey,FItzpatrick etc

Think the LC games were free for s t holders. It was the Scottish cup we paid the top up for.

Still probably wont get any home games in that either.

Sorry, you are right Cagey.

From OS:

  • Admission to all First Team SPFL Premiership matches at McDiarmid Park
  • Admission to all First Team Scottish League Cup matches played at McDiarmid Park
  • The option, at a cost of £15, to purchase a 'Scottish Cup top-up' entitling entry to any and all Saints games in the Scottish Cup played at McDiarmid Park

Ties to be played October 27/28.

The last cup game against Morton on 30th October 2013 (when Imrie and Novo played for Morton) is still fresh in the memory.

Nil- nil at halftime. At 90+5 Stevie May took a free kick which the keeper spilled, only for Gary McDonald to slot home.

Hope we don't leave it so late this time.

Those ties against Morton in 89 were amazing. John Spencer playing for them, going I think one down then two one up.  Balavage saving a pen but they scored from the corner. Then the replay in Perth where the game had to be delayed to let the crowd in..

Braw night..

Remember the MBS behind the goal and the FCF in the shed..
