Abernethy Saint
Most Brora players are way above HL level, and way above Div 3. They strolled their way to the pyramid play off, against a woeful Montrose side. Most of them then said they'd leave if Brora went up (travelling, extra training etc). They accidentally got ahead in the play off, then, gosh, lost two goals in a minute. RB has made a lifestyle choice. Would be really funny if we drew Brora, who are well supported financially, in the cup. Norsaint

Havana Saint
A distinct lack of ambition, merged with pots of cash, a three year contract and staying put.....not really surprised. As for Brora, I went to the play off 2nd leg at Links Park and although Montrose were not great, they were easily the better side and thoroughly deserved to remain in League 2. franco
Watkins turned down a very good offer from Saints to sign for Barnsley. Also rejected Hearts, Rangers and Aberdeen so we really had very little chance of every getting him. oldsaintee
lampshade
Britton signing for Brora probably gets him a job with crc Evans in Invergorden ! Probably really good money there as well
RandomGuy
He's probably earning more at Brora and a job on the side then he'd earn at Ross County. A fair whack of part time players earn more than players two divisions above, and St Mirren are getting turned down by Alloa players for the same reason. dave mc
Linked with Paul Heatley a winger from Crusaders, scored almost 1 in 2 from the wing, although at 27 you'd think he'd have been snapped up by now

MrBored
Mark Durham signs a 2year contract with Arabs. QoS due a development fee as he is under 24. Wait a minute, did Saints not develops him ?. I suppose that depends on whether we released him, or offered a contract that he turned down. I seem to remember there is some sort of solidarity payment....not sure if that applies or would be worth much.
rik2304
I see that The Sun,( I know ), has us linked with another player from Ireland. Paul Heatley. A winger.
The Real Saints
Paul Heatley is the type of signing I'd get quite excited about. Just won Ulster Footballer of the Year and Northern Ireland Football Writers' Association Player of the Year. A winger who has scored 59 goals in 126 games for Crusaders. Brogan
He may be good, but remember that Crusaders are a part-time team in a part-time league. Winning the Ulster Footballer of the Year sounds like a triumph and can indicate future greatness (cf Alan Mannus). But it's no failsafe guarantee of quality. It's voted for by a single branch of one club's supporters and its list of winners includes Vinny Arkins and Gary McCutcheon, who abandoned Scottish football after failing to score any goals for Stranraer. Agreed, it's certainly not a failsafe guarantee of quality. Worth taking a gamble on though? Very possibly. Despite the league he's been playing in, that scoring ratio is impressive for a winger. RandomGuy
He's worth a proper look, at the very least. Anyone in the habit of scoring should fall into this bracket

PerthSeany
Obviously I don't know much at all about him but maybe when he was younger he wasn't confident enough to push on like he is now? Decent goal record though
