garydavidson
Random has a bit of a fancier list than this but here is a run down of the contract situation- St Johnstone 1884 @stjohnstone1884 4h Contract ends in summer: Mannus, Scobbie, Millar, MacLean, Wotherspoon, Swanson, Shaughnessy, Foster, Easton, Craig, Gordon, Hunter, Comrie. Trying to pass the buck to SFA. Andrew Mckinlay is the chief operating officer at the SFA. SPFL don't do registrations. He looked like a rabbit in headlights getting a roasting from the msps. He looked like a rabbit in headlights getting a roasting from the msps. Ah, the buck stops with him then. Didn't see the episode, just picked up a brief news headline. Notice he says it will take a vote by member clubs to bring about any changes.

ex-montrosesaintee
Just my tuppence worth, but the league is one of very small margins. Pretty much any team can beat another on their day. I read again and again on here that 'so and so was crap at Motherwell or Kilmarnock so we don' want him'. It's pish. Richard Foster was bang average at County and has been exactly the replacement for Cuptie that folk on here thought we'd never find. Swanson was utter gash for Hearts and has been arguably the best player in the league at Saints again. There's a hell of a lot more to football than stats. lang toon saintie
I read a lot of positive comments about Foster from County fans so I don't know where you are getting that from
Kyle
The county fans were pretty gutted about losing Foster. We all know the story with Swanson as well. He never got a proper chance to show what he could do at hearts after an excellent few months with us. Hardly a shock that he's turned it on again now that he's playing regularly in a team that suits him. lang toon saintie
ex-montrosesaintee
I read a lot of positive comments about Foster from County fans so I don't know where you are getting that from And yet the majority on here STILL thought it was a panic buy and a mistake. Norsaint
And yet the majority on here STILL thought it was a panic buy and a mistake. That was probably based(understandably to an extent) on who he played for before. He has always been a decent player.

That's probably very true, but in no way should influence whether we buy a player or not. Macca being the prime example. Norsaint
