Shaggy Jenkins
I don't really follow the under whatever it is nowadays, other than the odd twitter score that pops up (usually getting beaten, which is maybe another discussion, but I think it is a young team v others at that level?) Anayway I am not seeing hendrys name mentioned a lot on the score sheet for him to warrent pushing for a start, it could be as someone said he is injured. However for him to be concidered he would need to be doing it week in week out at that level
R.B.B:- Adz
I'd be stunned if O'Halloran stayed on now Rangers are appointing a new manager... MOH will be recalled at the end of the year- that's is fact and frankly we're kidding ourselves on that we had a chance to keep him. I think you may get a pleasant little surprise on that front. 541ntees and dunkeldneil
Guest ScottMann
Ah, so your counting friendlies, in that case I seen Denny Johnstone score from 25 yards, clearly should be first choice It wouldn't surprise me if you actually thought that. Widge
Looks like a poacher who gets in and stays in the box, something we've been sorely missing. We actually put a lot of balls into the box from wide areas and there's never anyone there. Plus he takes penalties which is useful.
Cagey
I see Dundee have released Danny Williams by mutual consent. Was he not a decent player at ICT ?.

blueheaven
Are we actually considering paying a transfer fee for this guy? Presumably Dundalk aren't planning on letting their main striker leave midway through the season out of kindness.
Shaggy Jenkins
Does their season not run from Jan to October? If there season is over then possibly out of contract.

akuram
Please try to get him signed up as he looks like he will score if we get the ball to him. We desperately need to try to get someone to help us up front as the rest of the squad are ok.
Kinnoull Kicker
Can't play until January. His contracts expired at Dundalk. If his contract has expired then he is a free agent and can be signed with immediate effect?

Stumpy1949
If his contract has expired then he is a free agent and can be signed with immediate effect? He can be signed now but can’t play until January. You have to be a free agent before the transfer window closes ie August.
RandomGuy
If his contract has expired then he is a free agent and can be signed with immediate effect? We can't register him until January as he was registered with another club when the transfer window closed. Dundalk hold his registration, even though his contract has expired with them, until the next transfer window.

HertsAgain
Thanks for that - sound a bit like restrictive practice to me! I think it's there to level the playing field. If it wasn't in place, rich clubs could simply buy up players they saw as a threat from less well off clubs at any time during a season. Apart from the fact that the ugly sisters do that anyway, but just wait until January to do it. It also means that clubs and managers have to live or die according to the wisdom (...or otherwise...) of their use of funds during the previous transfer window. Which is kind of useful, because it tends to brutally expose a completely inadequate signing strategy...
