  1. They brought something to the East Stand corner and I welcomed their enthusiasm. Unclear as to circumstances behind a ban. As Jock Stein said "football without fans is nothing".

  2. Cant believe that???? cause the moaning brigade said that they weren't pivotal in the amount of atmosphere at games and they were the ones with all the songs and team encouragement. Unfortunately for the moaning puses ,they'll be at Hamilton and Queen of the South.

  3. The Scotish Daily Mail reported on 18th May 2014 that St Johnstone thorougly deserved their comprehensive win against Dundee United in the 2014 Scottish Cup Final. Ever since then, I believe every word they publish

  5. This is your evidence of 'multicultural elites' banning Christmas. I know you believe everything you read in the Daily Mail, but it really does not constitute impartial evidence of any kind. Perhaps I could go to the Grand Wizard of the Alabama KKK for a mainstream Christian view on Islam? Try again Athens.

  7. Every year, someone tries to tell me our 'multicultural elites' are trying to ban Xmas...every year I ask for some evidence, every year passes with no such evidence. Anyone reading this thread will see clearly that some people resent the fact that they can no longer bully and intimidate minorities in the public sphere....get over it, the rest of us are sick of racist, homophobic, misogynist F*cknuts polluting our society with their intolerant hate lists. Seasons Greetings one and all!

  8. Some would have us believe its always the "foreign" religions that are in some way out to convert us all. In my experience of the door knockers, they always tend to be radical christians, and in some ways are just as offensive as the radicals of other religions.

  9. I once got "harangued" for being a non-believer of the supposed big Guy in the sky and not celebrating Christmas by 6 supposed tolerant Christians who happened to be government officials. I was livid. Nothing to with me being over sensitive, this was out and out trying to ram their life choices down my friggin throat. Threatened to report them to the the City wide Equality & Diversity Committee. They soon shut up.

  10. Well its a long trip to Dumfries and back, but if you're up for it let me know asap. To be honest, it's a pretty tall order for a mini bus trip. I estimate we would need a minimum of 14 people, the cost would be around £20 a head, and we'd probably be away from Inverness from about 8.00am til who knows when. That's if it's a 3pm kick off of course. So if anyone fancies it please post on here by this weekend, early indications from last night's meeting show quite a few unable to go. Another option is to drive down to Perth and pick up one of the Saints buses. Rhoda has already looked into this and it wouldn't seem to be a problem. Again though, numbers asap as these other supporters clubs need to organise coach hire.

  12. I personally go to the football to watch football. Not to listen to some prepubescent teenagers bang a drum and twirl scarfs. Couldn't care less about atmosphere tbh.

  18. is it not the case that these children not being able to speak English are slowing the learning process for the native children or am I just being racist again?

  19. I would think that if a childs first language isn't English then they will be provided for in their native language until they have comfortably learned the new language.

  20. Whether Guidetti dived or slipped is open to question....But the fact remains that he is guilty of cheating! If he slipped then he knows the ref has made a mistake and should have attempted to correct him. He didn't, instead he took the penalty! I know players don't often attempt to persuade a ref that it wasn't a foul by the other side or whatever but isn't it impressive when they do ( Paulo de Canio comes to mind ). Had Guidetti at least made an effort to tell Collum that there was no offence...we would applaud his honesty...the result of the game would not have been altered...As it is, same old tic always moaning and cheating, therefore the Compliance Officer should take action.

  23. You at least are able to take things in a good humoured manner, far too many posts in this thread consist of aggressive unbridled vitriol and it's kind of depressing to realise thats how some folks genuinely interpret things.

  24. Oh, craiginasaintsstrip, to quote a well known super vilian, "Why so serious ?" In all honesty, as people have admitted on the past that there was tampering of the cup draws by putting the Glasgow twosomes balls in the fridge overnight in order to keep them apart, then these draws will always have an air of skepticism about them, however, for the record, I do not believe that this is being done in this day and age (highlighted for emphasis). Now, can we get back on topic and laugh at more goings on at The Rangers, given that is has now been revealed that they only get 75p from every £10 spent on their merchandise, not to mention the fact that their new NOMAD is now revealed to be connected to Craig Whyte ??? This truly is a soap opera, and the story lines just keep getting better and better

  25. The very first thing this article says is that the group who made that poster have been "banned". Sounds quite sensible to me. Doesn't really seem consistent with the notion that everything in this country is being done to keep fanatical Muslim extremists happy.

  41. Just want to put on record, my appreciation for all the support given to last nights event. It was a roaring success. Thanks to Ian and Linda ( fabby stovies) at the Saints club, the club itself, and also all the staff. Thanks to my fellow committee members, without who's hard work this braw night would not of happend, especially Hazel, Anne and Fiona who never stopped all night ( I believe Anne and Fiona are now considering career changes and may well soon be seen taking bets at Perth Races). Thanks to Andy at Goal Training for his sponsorship, to the four people who bought the lots in the auction, and finally, a huge thanks to all those fans and friends who attended and made it such a great fun night. I think Ando was overwhelmed by the level of support. Cheers Folks.
