50yrs a Saint
People or person who displayed Palestinian flag at Euro match will ensure UEFA keep a close eye on Saints from now on, at future Euro ties, and any future flares or pitch invasion (however small) will likely incur severe monetary penalty I would assume! Whatever your political viewpoint, Neither Palestinian nor Israel flag have any place at McD! livi saint
Dundalk were fined 18 thousand euros for fans flying the Palestine flag at their European match. Dnt know how saints got away with it? And I'm sure there would have been other clubs whose fans displayed the flag the same evening who have not been caught/punished. Celtic had free gazza signs and Palestine flags at McDairmid and display them at all matches. Hope they get investigated and fined.

Ali91
Don't understand how a club can be punished for flying a flag, Celtic fly tricolours every game...

They were flying before the game. They were asked to remove it , then started flying it again through the game. What if you had a Palestinian player playing for your team ????? I just don't get how flying a countries flag is deemed offensive .
Kilgour
Lets not test UEFA patience.Forget about Celtic etc.etc. at Saints we dont want or need any display of political/religious nature. Only Gazza on our minds should be the pathetic wretch in re-hab. croc

Scobby_SJFC
Not sure how UEFA can action this? What if we had a Palestine player or our colours were that of our team? Would Celtic be fined if Ireland were in a war? Flag shouldn't have been there but a fine seems ridiculous and leaves UEFA open to dishing out fines every week to many clubs
ancientsaint
Legia Warsaw are in the poo -for mocking UEFA with a lovely flag / Banner.
