Sadly I think this list of players really reflects how much more ambition the club once had. Looking at these guys (other than Griffin, Anderson and Kerr who came to the club as youngsters), they were all brought here as a result of the board at the time pushing the boat out to various extents to back their manager and sign good players from an equivalent or higher level. It might not have worked for him at MK Dons but let's face it, if it did, he wouldn't be signing here. He's a good age again, hopefully hungry, ambitious and with a point to prove.
