The only two players that would strengthen us would be Kerr Smith coming in for Liam Gordon or Nicky Clark for Graham Carey but neither are up to speed.

I'd have thought Kerr Smith would be more likely to fill Considine's role than Gordon's.

Agree with you though that if Clark starts it should be next to another striker rather than in DJ's role. I'm not much of a fan of DJ on his own up front but actually felt he probably had his best game for us on Wednesday night.

My prediction is Max starts in place of Sprangler today.

Except Levein has already addressed the fact Clark was out with a tight groin in the media on Wednesday and for all we know Chris Kane might not even have been injured, it may have been something else?

The constant need for saints fans to know every last minute detail about our players is ridiculous. They’ve stated the guys are injured and then say they might be back, what more do you want from them? Obviously it’s not a long term thing as they’d of posted about that separately.

Would they. Never saw the statement on Clark. Is tight groin just another way of saying dropped due to the fact he showed nothing against Airdrie.

We can't keep dropping point after point at home.

Especially bad letting shite like Bair score.

He’s probably scored more for them than we have all season , but unfair!  80 odd minutes of crap after the scrappy goal and at least other teams strikers can score as this has been our downfall for years

That second half was abysmal. Devoid of any ambition to get forward, unable to string passes together and losing battles all across the midfield. Very lucky to get the point.

The approach needs to improve, we cannot go through the rest of the season with the ambition of drawing every game. A negative attitude next Saturday in Dingwall and we will be 11th again. Plenty of work to do in training midweek.

Really poor. Considine awas authentication only one with any sort of composure on the ball. More worrying was when the subs came on both were very poor. Not sure if Clark even touched the ball.

Midfield was smothered too easily. Carey should have stayed wider but didn't seem to have the legs in him today.

Robinson was all over the place. Even when he got the ball un space he didn't seem to have anyone to pass to.

It is hard to be positive about this side when they turn in a rotten performance like that.

Lucky to get the point and it was almost like the early goal was the worst thing that could happen to us as we then sat back, much like we did first half against Aberdeen.

Some credit to the manager for changing things and going two up front....only it didn't really work. Seemed to me like we had Smith, Phillips and Max all trying to play central, ignoring the wide areas as a result Ketjens and Robinson when they did have the ball didn't have much help on their side to get themselves out of trouble and then resorted to going backwards or giving the ball away.

Phillips and Smith not there usual selves and Carey and Max pretty anonymous. Less said about DJ's performance the better.

Interesting to see Bair, thought he deserved his goal and did a fair bit of running up top for Well.....reckon they will be pretty disappointed not to have won the game.

Hmmmm, not sure we did enough to win that today. We're certainly more difficult to beat but nothing up top.

Kimpioka is rapid but looks like he's either never been coached on striker play or hasn't listened. Too often caught behind his defender...fair enough gamble sometimes but not every time. Body position and anticipation looked way off too.

DJ up top was a bit of an improvement but just not quite there.

Strangely, given who was on the pitch, our midfield seemed weak today. Frequently loosing the ball, not winning 2nd balls and almost seemed confused who and when to press.

Defence gets pass marks, apart from the goal most things were delt with. Keltjens in particular looks like a really good acquisition.

Another point gained in Livi but feels like we"re going to draw ourselves to the playoff.

That second half formation was a shambles.  No width, Carey sitting high and central, max missing and Phillips left isolated.

It was genuinely hard to make out who should be playing where and I have no doubt that was the reason it was so disjointed.

For what it’s worth I don’t think Levein and Kirk are trying to set the team up defensively I just think their philosophy of how to attack/play is clearly not working.

Due to the narrow diamond midfield play just got congested in there and we’re not good enough to play through this.  The full backs never had passing lanes which forced them long or backwards.

Let’s get back to basics.  Sprangler should never have been dropped and we can’t afford to have both Carey and Max in the same team.

Starting to have concerns about Kirk and Leveins decisions after what was a semi positive start to their helm.

Oh, and how many uncontested headers did their centre backs have in the latter stages of the game when we had 2 forwards plus Carey sitting high    Honestly embarrassing

I think that was purely down to the lack of width. We eneded up hoofing long balls up the park which none of the attackers were able to meet....Clark because he was usually nowhere near and DJ because he was on his arse looking for a foul.

Carey should have been able to push wide to the left to give Luke someone to pass to. Similarly Smith and Keltjens on the right. That was the strikers could focus on getting into the box and you've got Sven and Dan in the middle to break up any counters.
