I wasn't there today because I was doing the Great Stirling 5K this morning. Glad that my last game of the season was Hearts on Wednesday, it's a better way to sign off the season than being beaten by "them". Thanks Tommy for another great season. See you all again in Europe!! BTW I was 86th out of 500 and the 30th female home, well chuffed!

Last game of another wonderful season. Very difficult to articulate what this time as a genuine top team in Scotland means to some of us of certain vintage. To sit proudly above the both Tayside "Giants" and both Edinburgh teams when no one can for a moment even question that we are there on merit is a special feeling. Undoubtedly these last 6, perhaps 7 years have been the greatest in our history. To the game; I see Clark starting ahead of Mannus and Thomson and Kane on from the start. No doubt the nutters from the west will through to cause mayhem outside the game but lets keep our composure on and off the field for another end to a brilliant season. Come on you Saints!

If you were asked who you wanted to make a last ditch tackle or block in the box, then I'd take Tam Scobbie before any other outfield player at the club.

I think that photo is of a stock strip. The strip is a non stock one from what I was told. It is allegedly a retro style and a new logo for sponsor.

I have some sympathy for Alston, since he was shunted out to the left today. Has he ever played there before? Wotherspoon does alright out there now but looked lost too when TW first started asking him to play there. His mistake for the second goal was worse than Easton's but the latter should really know better and and I'm probably more disappointed in his part in it. The first goal showed the quality Kenny Miller still has. There were good parts to our performance and we've forced their goalkeeper into a few good saves. Would have been nice to get the win but it doesn't detract from another very good season.

Dominated first half & if we had gone ahead ,think we would have won the game. Kenny Miller is their only decent player & we gave him the freedom of McDiarmid. Their second was an embarrassment for Alston who was poor today. Once they got the second & some confidence it looked like is would be 5 or 6.

If i get time i'll go through the teams and show which ones we can get...

Just popping in to say we've signed a lad called John Robertson from the Tynecastle U16 squad. I believe hes scored 90 goals for them this season, although I've not found any proof of it due to the lack of history at that level. The club has a history of promising youngsters with Callum Paterson and Jamie Walker coming through there. Jason Kerr also came through the club.

Dominated game until Scotland's shame scored. Thomson was good as was Craig. Great season. As fir the Bigots, I think many were simply there for a sectarian singing session ahead of their tribal strolling season of July.

Take Miller's movement out of Sevco and they are pish. Surprised the coaching staff could not see what we could from the terraces and have him marked. Too often ball watching, but hey ho, but for their keeper's size 12 it would have been squeaky bum time. Coys.

Given the defence Ragners put out we didn't ask enough questions of them. Thomson looks like he lacks confidence to have a go at his defender. Terrible defending for their second, Alston had the worst game I've seen from him. A little disappointed more of the team didn't stay out to appalud the support they have had this season.

For the final this season........ Saints dominated the game for the first 25 minutes but could not take advantage and score. Sevco came into it for a bit and then it was fairly even before some poor play led to us losing the first goal. From there on it was always a bit of a struggle . Their second killed us and were very lucky not concede again before we got one back. Had a great chance to level it but it was not to be. 4th place is a great achievement. Player wise today, Chris Millar, Scobbie, Big Joe, Kano and especially young Thompson were terrific . Most others were average. Sadly I thought Alston was rotten .. Anyway, that's it all done and dusted.. See you all 5 weeks on Thursday when 2017-18 gets going. COYS

Sure it's Tyncastle boys club we've signed him from. It's like signing someone from one of the Jeanfield Swift boys teams, just so no one gets confused and thinks we've signed a Hearts youngster.

Just to let yous know, Gaga is still in hospital. I was led to believe he had passed away too, I was working with a support worker last night who has been up visiting him. Gaga suffered a stroke and spent a few days in a coma state, but is aware of his surroundings now. Although not out of the woods yet he is moving in the right direction

It's hard to get your head round the fact that loads of young Saintees out there have never known a time when we were not a top team. When a good Saturday was an away draw at Stenhousemuir. It must be really boring for them when we older farts keep saying enjoy it, because it won't last. But do enjoy it, because it won't last! But in the meantime, going into games against Sevco expecting to win is just a joy. Tommy is unquestionably a god.

Really enjoyed today, and had the pleasure of taking my wee nephew to get some autographs after the game. What I will say though ( I know I know its a mans game etc etc ) There is a gentleman who often sits behind us and he makes for cringy listening, Every word out his mouth is cxxxt, basxxxx, cxxx ,,,fuxx,,cxx ,,basss all through the game, he sits and slags every single player both home and away and even called the ref a black basssss... This guy is really getting on the nerves of the people in that area and I was so close to telling him to bolt. Football is football and we all have the odd shout of foul language but this erse takes it to the next level and beyond... rant over

Thought he done really well to get in a position to get a shot off but seemed to hold on to the ball until the challenge came in, our propensity to try and walk the ball in to the net is a bit frustrating. Taking nothing away from Swanson his performance was truly professional today.

Pates looked a yard slow when he first came, but he's picked that up with games,he's a better passer than Muzz,can tackle like him,but can shoot much better,been a decent signing in the end
