Pretty uninspiring stuff. Devine needs to work on his positioning, too often he's on Wotherspoon's toes or a yard behind the pass. We miss having Wotherspoon and Booth together on that left side. We looked weak at the back at times too, they were just too poor to convert any of the chances.

Middleton coming on made a huge difference, not just in his own play but Wotherspoon woke up a bit too. May and Hendry tried they're best and did ok at times, but demonstrated what we're missing. Kane has his skills, but he really works best against a better team as he wins fouls and gets the ball up the park, releasing the pressure. We need someone who can score against the smaller teams.

Too often when we're on the break, we slow things right down and allow their defenders to get back. May does this every time runs with the ball, encounters a defender, stops and waits for play to catch up, before passing back to the midfield.

We deserved the draw, but we need to fix some of these problems if we're going to finish any higher than 8th/9th.

Wouldn't read much into that performance, beyond the fact it further confirms theres a gulf between our starting strikers and the back up strikers.

Last month has been incredibly tough on the players, so take the point here, keep yourself in mid-table, regroup and our season starts properly in a couple of weeks. European games were obviously, and understandably, a major distraction.

St Johnstone NIL . A familour story.

Probably would have taken a draw. Important not to let StMirren advance above us in the league.

We have two days to find a striker, whether we pay money or get a loan.

Hopefully the look warm displays were down to 2 games a week for past few weeks & now that is over we can get back to playing football not hoofball.

Two weeks rest & hopefully Gordon back & ready for a difficult few games ahead.
