Zak Rudden signed a pre-contract agreement with Dundee according to the Sun:

"DUNDEE have won the race for Partick Thistle striker Zak Rudden.

Dens Park boss James McPake swooped to beat off relegation rivals St Johnstone as well as Motherwell for the 21-year-old hitman.

Rudden has signed a pre-contract with Dundee so McPake is likely to now attempt to bring him to Tayside early.

Zak Rudden had a number of top flight clubs chasing him

Thistle turned down bids from Saints and Well and are demanding over six figures for the ex-Rangers kid.

So Dundee, who allowed Jason Cummings to head for Central Coast Mariners yesterday, will have to put together a package to tempt the Jags into selling. "

Interesting, the Hootsmon says we have a pre contract for Forrest but have only offered 2/3rds of Livi's price to get him now.  One wonders how much Livi want for a guy who is far from central to their plans?  Another sign that when a club knows you are in big trouble their only thought is to try and exploit your difficulties.

Can't blame them for that.

Dundee heading for financial problems if they are paying more than Saints or Motherwell. Can't imagine him choosing zDundee for anything other than the money.

Martindale said it was 30 to 35% off their valuation.

As far as I'm led to believe, (correct me if I'm wrong) Thistle have let Scumdee snap him up for Free, by him signing a "pre contract", to join them at the end of the season.

Thistle must be mad to refuse an offer of cash up front from Saints and now it looks like they'll end up with hee haw, unless the situation changes and Scumdee want him in the Jan transfer window, in which case they will have to fork out.

Comments attributed to their Manager in the media, rubber ball McCall, appear at this stage to have backfired on them.

He probably got a better deal for the player and a worse deal for the club unless they pay money now .

Does Rudden's age not mean there would be a development fee due when he goes to Dundee in the summer?

Its based on how long you've been at a club, so for Rudden it would be minimal, maybe not even £50k.

We could've signed him on a PCA if we wanted, as soon as he entered the last 6 months of his deal he was free to speak to, and agree a deal with, any club he wanted.

Was a Rangers youth, went on loan Falkirk 2018-19

Loaned to Plymouth Argyle 2019-20.

Partick Thistle 2020-2022.

Don't think Partick will receive a brass razoo.

Callum just confirmed on radio Mahon signed, and macpherson recalled by St Mirren.

Players on a season-long loan can be recalled by parent clubs in the January transfer window but only if the two clubs have agreed a recall clause in advance. A loan deal can be cancelled at any time in the season if both clubs concerned agree.

Thought he was not in the frame at St Mirren at all but a week after his best performance he gets recalled! Perhaps we could have said no unless of course there was indeed a recall clause.

I remember St Mirren saying when the loan went through they had a recall clause for January.
