Amazing story. Do we have an Ian and Terry in the stands?

The thing about them is they took over a club broke, don’t we have millions in the bank for a rainy day?

Cork City in Ireland just sold their club to a local businessman over there, other then Pa Brown do we have sponsors whose directors have ever shown interest in joining the board or making an investment in the club.

We own our ground plus don’t have the creditors knocking at our door, that’s got to be two great selling points?

The fact we may still have money in the bank and own the ground is a worry. That looks a good prospect for asset strippers.

Will have to rely on Geoff doing due diligence.

From what I’ve been told by a reliable source is plenty of enquiries but nothing other than that. The story in courier about the American consortium is a load of rubbish because they havnt even spoke to Geoff. Also I hope they don’t get rid of the ground at all. We make more money from funerals than we do from rangers and Celtic. So if we move we could lose that income.

A new structure at the club:

Geoff Brown - Honorary President
Stan Harris - CEO

Alan Storrar + Roddy Grant - Directors

Didn’t Harris walk away previously due to a medical condition?

Hopefully he is good now?

What exactly does Roddy  apart fae being broons mate??

Thought Steve would have taken Roddy with him. Don't know what qualifies him to be a director of a football club , especially one with such a small board.

Interim board is a bit of a worry.

Honorary President in his 80s and wants to retire.

CEO ,ex director who retired for health reason previously.

Alan Storrar ex sponsor whose previous business was wound up in October 2021.

Roddy Grant , ex professional footballer who hass been at club for years.

Have faith in Geoff to do what's right for the club and the supporters but worry that he is a bit of a one man band.

I viewed it differently TBH. A board put together probably for legal reasons and administrative purposes until the new owners come in was my thoughts a bit like the management also.

CEO ,ex director who retired for health reason previously - This is incorrect, played a part in his decision but ultimately was not the reason he chose to stand down previously.  Regardless, he's fighting fit now, loves the club as much as any of us, quite honestly the best decision that has been made up there in years is getting Stan back to guide the ship in the interim.

Alan Storrar ex sponsor whose previous business was wound up in October 2021 - Also not true, Alan chose to retire so wound up the business through choice, business was successful but just decided that he had had enough and wanted to take things a bit easier.

Roddy Grant , ex professional footballer who hass been at club for years.

Stan Harris got a good rest from August 2021. He has had time to reflect on his mistakes. Now he will perform better. I wonder how the game will be affected.

High profile English football chief executive, Jez Moxey, has been tasked with securing the sale of St Johnstone.

Moxey, previously in charge of Wolves and Norwich City and still a director with Burton Albion, is the head of mergers and acquisitions of General Sports Worldwide.

GSW are overseeing the process to find a buyer for Saints.

Majority shareholder, Geoff Brown, has put his stake in the Perth club on the market.

The price tag is understood to be over $13 million.

What does this mean by tasked? We are paying him to do this for us, like a broker? So if someone wants to buy us they call this guy?

Can't see GB getting £10m for Saints. How much did Ogren pay for United?

Would be an interesting comparison, maybe @Smarmy Arabknows? Had a quick Google around but can't see a figure anywhere.

I don't know the ins and outs of what United's assets were, but I'd assume Saints have a lot more land and also a lot more money in the bank?
