541ntees
Great wee stadium with a bar in the stand . Great composure from macca but there keeper was woeful. Nice finish from kano after beating the offside trap. Paton was tidy in mf  Alston was decent on the right. Coulsdon kept cutting in on  his right from the left hand side cos he had no pace. Early days but not seen anything that has improved the 1st team . #maccasonfire Edited July 10, 2016 by 541ntees Callum Mcdonald
blueheaven
Saints looked a bit rusty but it was a decent enough performance for a first game back. Good finishing for the goals, not bad debuts for the new signings, and plenty of options coming off the bench to highlight how much depth there is in our squad at the moment (in fact it's probably bigger than it needs to be in my opinion). First time in Belfast and can't say I'll be returning in a hurry. But I did really like Glentoran's ground - I imagine the atmosphere there would be great if it's ever full. The Oval is getting flattened and a new stadium built in it's place, with the pitch being turned 180 degrees.

glenrothes saintee
Â The Oval is getting flattened and a new stadium built in it's place, with the pitch being turned 180 degrees. Glentoran Directors seemingly visited McDiarmid 20+ years ago as they planned then to redevelop The Oval and wanted to model it on our "theatre of dreams". jhq
Â The Oval is getting flattened and a new stadium built in it's place, with the pitch being turned 180 degrees. Surely if you turn the pitch 180 degrees it will look exactly the same? Norsaint, Highland Saintee, Nelly78 and 4 others
garydavidson
I wonder what their trialist goal keeper will do for his next job, he is certainly not cut out to be a keeper.   MySpazz

R.B.B:- Adz
A few of the more historically rotund players in the squad are looking in great shape - namely Swanson and Easton.. Great to see them right at the start of pre-season looking ready to go..

Great to see them right at the start of pre-season looking ready to go.. Swanson appeared to be breathing out of his arse after 5 mins but then ran about the whole time he was on.Personally impressed with Liam
