A WIN, A WIN, A BLOODY WIN!!!!!! Some improved performances tonight, but Dave's determination was superb IMO. Croft was blowing out of his arse after 50 minutes, but to his credit he got a second wind and made some decent tracking runs towards the end. The goals seemed to really lift everyone. O'Halloran took both his goals really really well, but was entirely at fault for the Motherwell goal, so can't get MOTM IMO.

I think because he does not run around like an idiot but holds the shape we are supposed to be playing people underrate him he stepped up for some important tackles and snuffed out some attacks particularly second half last night. He also did the same against the the.

Good win and some good spirit to come back. Once we went ahead, the team seemed to gain so much confidence. Don't think croft is worth a start and wright looks out of his depth now, but think the rest did well. Can't figure out whether I think McFadden had a good game or not. Showed flashes and if we can get him match fit, we'll have a good player. Chris Miller had a very good game. Think win could set us up for a decent run now.

O'Halloran for me too. Thought mcfadden played well too, but MOH was absolutely outstanding, after his goal in particular.

Pheww.... Delighted for O'Halloran after his part in their goal. He stepped up to the plate when needed. I understand the frustration people feel towards him as everyone can see he has real potential. The fact is if he was scoring/creating goals consistently he wouldn't be playing for us or any team in the SPL.

Right that video has boiled my piss, if that is us training no wonder we are shite, And I will blow my own trumpet here, when I was Lee Crofts age I had 3 kids, worked 40 hours a week, and if I could work, a Saturday morning, and if my luck was in got a Sunday shift as well, In the Spring, Late Summer we would play football, Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, I would also play Sunday Fives at night and even trained with Junior teams in between, ( Me and my wife of 32years do get on by the way). That video of saints supposedly training says it all, jogging about, chatting, smiling, When I trained you sucked every bit of oxygen you could get into your lungs when you stopped for a rest, if Croft has to pull at his shorts as they are uncomfortable when training like that, our "Ba rash was agony but it was caused by hard training and sweat not ****ing posing around for a ****ing video camera, I bet Motherwell are pissing themselves at that video, If you had put out a video of Saints being put through the mill, Press ups, sprinting, sweat running out the crack of their erse then they would have thought **** me they mean business, But that is a could not care less attitude. Hmmm if he is exceptional but not quite ready he must still be pretty crap if he doesn't warrant a run out out given the pretty appalling performances from the first team squad of late. Hindsight a wonderful thing but I think that we would have got value for May when he was instead loaned out to Hamilton - we got one year of value on the pitch from a home reared talent. Times TW gives Easton a run out - he might just get a surprise and a value add for the rest of the season.

I believe there's been some new people been appointed at the club to action this very point and we're currently in talks to help 'spread the word' on all manner of key messages. Ideally, we at mi perthshire would like to be able to help communicate: - Fixtures (first team, youths etc) - Family / student / OAP deals etc - Season ticket deals - Corporate hospitality deals - Club shop promotions - Any events taking place in the community We'd also like to speak to businesses around Perth who might want to provide exclusive discounts for Saints season ticket holders! Perth does indeed have very good variety for its size. Although I do wonder how some survive. Certainly we locals are not stuck on choice if we wanna splash the cash, as restaurants ain't cheap. I much prefer going out for lunches than at night due to young family. And you'll find most pubs attempt food to compete for lunch. Just wish I knew a discount card for these places to get bogof.

A couple of points from an outsider - don't bite my head off - just trying to help. 1/ This is the first time I've understood the Club isn't actually a Saints supporters Club. It's a club, that a Saint supporters club use - yeh? Very confusing. When you pay to enter, are you paying the Club, or....errrr....the Club? 2/ There is a slightly cliquey vibe that comes fro the Borussia St folks on here. Has put us off, although I recognise that Ancient Saint has always tried to be very welcoming. Just that the whole "club" thing can be off-putting - membership, daft rules, t'committee and all that. The whole notion of paying to be allowed into a place to pay for stuff has always struck me as odd. 3/ The Corinna offer sounds braw. That would be a pub where you can just wander in and buy a pint - or would you still have to join a club? Genuinely baffled here.

People keep going on about McFadden getting fit. The problem I've got is think he is fit! He just looks absolutely done, it's not fitness but touch, moving into space, playing the right weight of pass etc. It's still early but reminds me of signing Riordan (accepting McFadden is nothing like him as a person) and him just looking lost on the brief occasions he played. McFadden is certainly not overweight or anything. This is as fit as he will get. I'm far more concerned about his ability to be able to do anything with he ball.

On McFadden, Motherwell fans would strongly disagree with RandomGuy (shock). Most of them are saying they should never have let him go. Whether he will offer us anything remains to be seen, but he at least deserves a chance to get match fit before we completely write him off.
