Center Half
One of my favourite players at the time, Then also a great referee when he took up that mantle, Also I think his two grandsons during the half time shootout got one of the biggest cheers I have heard when asked who their favourite saints player was, we were in the time when every one was asked went Steve May these two went Willie Coburn and the whole stadium cheered. Says it all . RIP Willie. sixties saintee, Kinnoull Kicker, jhq and 3 others

Kilgour
When I started watching SaintsI could not imagine a team without Willie Coburn. He did not get the headlines like the forwards but he was so reliable.Tough,hardtackling,no-nonsense player who took it personally if a winger got past him. RIP Mr.Coburn
