The ghost of Jim Morton
Am going. Game is winnable but we will have to play well. Hope we don't set up for the draw because I fear if we do, we will get sod all.. Chris Millar for a start anyone??
saint-johns-toun
Im annoyed its not on telly. If swanson can work his magic then its deffo winnable. Defence need to stay tight AthensSaint
Edstar101
To win this we will need to be much better in the final third. It worries me that if Danny has an off day, or the bread man actually has some tactical nonce and keeps him out the game, then we will not have any ingenuity at all
Shaggy Jenkins
Looks like its live on rangers TV, so may be a stream available. Going to try and get it through my kodi box but it does involve installing the follow follow plug in which feels dirty Will feel less dirty if we win though. It's really a 50/50 game and hopefully we go and compete and not be fazed by a name, they are no better than hearts and Aberdeen and by extension us. Cagey
Hopefully not lininig up like we did against Celtic handing them the game. Not sure if Mecca will play in midweek game. May even put Danny up front on his own looking for a breakaway. Hopefully play our own game that the team are comfortable with. SlickDT
We can't give this bunch any respect. They are a newly promoted side with a top six squad. Seen as we are away from home, I think a draw would be a positive result, but we can't just go there and sit back.
AthensSaint
Where we do excel is that the pool and quality of midfielders we have means that 4-5-1 can be attacking or defensive. TW will go to The The land being cautious. I would imagine Midge or Paton will start.
RandomGuy
No real fear for this fixture, tbh. Pittodrie is a tougher game these days and we've won there plenty of times lately. Biggest benefit will be the moronic Rangers manager who'll no doubt have no respect for us and try and go all guns blazing.
Templar Saint
Im annoyed its not on telly. If swanson can work his magic then its deffo winnable. Defence need to stay tight Will be on Rangers tv if you can find a stream and turn the volume down so that you do not need to listen to a biased commentator. I have an Oober Supreme box that I get all these streams with very little buffering. Goggle Oober tv if you are interested
R.B.B:- Adz
If swanson can work his magic then its deffo winnable. Defence need to stay tight If Swanson and Murray Davidson keep playing as well as they have been, we are tantalisingly close to having a great season. If Chris Kane hits the goal trail, second is ours!!
17May
Isn't it brilliant being a saintee just now! Nothing to fear from this game on Wednesday. COYS
Pelosi
In our previous match against them Tommy had them sussed and used O'Halloran's pace and had worked on training ground set pieces, hopefully he works his magic again and finds a way of getting the best from what we've got! Kevin James Is On Stilts
Newly promoted teams usually step up their game when they come up against the big guns in the league, we see it all the time, so Tommy needs to ensure we stay motivated and go out there to do a professional job against these journeymen. We'll probably let in a goal to tease them a bit, maybe even let them take the lead, but in the end a comfortable 2-1 victory to the Saintees. Hearts to drop points at Killie, third place here we come. garydavidson, sleepless, Abernethy Saint and 5 others
ss75990
I think Tommy will use similar tactics to last time and play danny in more of a central role and play balls over the top of there (very slow) CB's. With the CB's they have at the minute, I hope a lot of the players are encouraged to run at them. Most of the team will have the pace and ability to skip past them
Cagey
Would be great to be second or third after the first round of games but hopefully still fourth at least.
south inch
Somewhat surprisingly the optimistic assessment of Sunday's result put out by MW and one or two of his players is not shared by the peepul. The Bears Den view is that they were lucky to escape another skelping, only the goalkeeper and Craig Thomson receive pass marks for their performances. An early goal would get the crowd on the players backs. One thing to be wary of is their liking for taking quick free kicks, got to be careful there because no referee will make them retake a kick at Ayebroke if they have scored from an unfair advantage. ex-montrosesaintee
I fear they may just kick Swanson out of the game, and we could really do without him being injured. Would be a great boost to have Millar and Davidson in midfield, with Danny and Spoony out wide. Is there merit in playing Coulson and Macca up front? Coulson has looked good when he's featured, and it might not end up in Kane/Cummins becoming isolated up front? I'd go Clark Foster Joe Ando Easton Midge Muzz Spoony Coulson Danny Macca Wendy Saints and Havana Saint

Saintdunc
As long as we play without fear of losing we can take them out and come home with 3 points.
David123
I reckon Zippy will play and get caught offside numerous times and eventually get it right, round the keeper and miss! Nah only joking think Zippy will start though
Guest ScottMann
I was also wondering about Coulson starting given their static defence. As long as Tommy doesn't make too many changes as that rarely seems to work. Just forget the whole media love in crap that goes with these bastards and just be Saints. That should be good enough for a point at least.
Abernethy Saint
Swanson will play a blinder, Sevco will buy him in January after 19 failed bids starting at £25 payable over several decades, and by February he will be decorating the stands. Wendy Saints
I worry for us! The last two home games we have had diddly squat from the refs!! So what chance do we have of getting a 'strong' ref at Ibrox?! Yes Zero! As long as we don't show them too much respect we should be ok ... They are rank rotten ..
