mad saints fan
I get the feeling if the manager position was ever up for grabs in the future, that he'd be one of the applicants. Remember how he considered taking on the role when McInnes left but then decided to keep on playing. Young managers see Saints as a good stepping stone to a job down in England after Coyle and McInnes, probably what attracted Lomas to the job. SingaporeSaint
This would be the fan's favourite choice. He will have instant respect from the squad as well. rik2304, stanley saint and Cis streaker
SingaporeSaint
Plus with his Chelsea connections....could get a few Chelsea young reserves on loan or a young lad who is not Chelsea standard but would be good for Saints.
Saintdunc
If we are looking for a midfielder who wants to stay in the north (just how far north!) then here is one plucked out of the air http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/20130108-dannsnodeal-585431.aspx

RandomGuy
I'd expect Lomas to have no interest in signing him, I'd also be hugely disappointed if we brought him back dave mc

SaintDinky
Jody left Saints mainly for personal reasons, i.e. his family are down south, so I reckon it's highly highly unlikely that he'll come back. Also don't think we could afford/justify his wages.

Also don't think we could afford/justify his wages. His whole family moved up to Glasgow with him at the time. I doubt he'd move them up here again right enough. Jiangsu Sainty
I don't think we need him anyhow. And I don't mean that as a slight on his ability, as unlike some I think he was brilliant, but I think we have a good midfield. Guest Mongy Max
Well in middle now we have cregg, muzz (still) millar Craig doughty, abedi, edwards and apparently maddison shit jimmy, were spoilt for choice!! Saintly Child
Sad ending for him, I hoped the saints connection would work at BC but it seems they are two shite for quality Scottish connections.

sleepless
I prefer him to Lomas... Lomas has nothing like the back story. I mean it. I'm all for giving people a second chance, but Jody Morris has some unsavoury episodes in his CV. I never liked him being involved in our club and I wouldn't want him back. I'm all for giving people a second chance, but Jody Morris has some unsavoury episodes in his CV. I never liked him being involved in our club and I wouldn't want him back. He was a youngster when these problems arose. People change. I was highly impressed with his level of maturity while at Saints. I would welcome him back any day, whether as a player or manager. john1962, Teamwork and Radford 72

Dave Ferg
Nelson Mandela was a bit of a boy in his youth but turned out a pretty decent human being (obviously not as a holding midfielder though).
