Thought we might see MOH up top today but it just didn't work and TW should've seen that. I know his hand was forced with two of the substitutions but what an absolute joke bringing on Sutton at the end. Cummins is an infinitely better player who has actually produced results this season. MOH should've been sent to right midfield and Cummins on with at least 30 minutes to go. My biggest gripe with TW and his tactics are that he is reactive instead of proactive. He waits and waits, usually until we go behind before making any changes. You could argue before Hibs scored the second that actually we looked the more likely to score but it was just not quite there. So he just sat on it waiting for it to come instead of forcing the issue. That is very frustrating for me. Shifting MOH back to his preferred position and bringing Cummins on while we were on top and we could've buried them. Felt Mannus should've done much better with that shot but once again we let someone take a shot without closing down. There is one positive I can take from that crap - Joe Shaughnessey was fantastic and thank god we've found out how good he is at CH.

The Comrie Young Team is on the train to Haymarket. Well, when I say young, we have a combined age of 74. And when I say team, there's only 2 of us !!!!

I reckon the majority of fans would be fine in their support- the stewards on the other hand will have been told to remove anyone that is in Saints colours/ clearly supporting us. It's a case of keeping a low profile and everything will be fine.

Any saints fans on here going hospitality today? Tried like a bear to get tickets for the Roseburn but all I could get was 2 tickets for Bobby Walker suite hospitality. Any other game I would love hospitality but would have liked to be in the #roseburnroar. One postive is I'll get a good view of the saints fans!

Just a few from me. Not sure if I'm in any tbh

I kind a know what you Mean Rebel, but I do think we were in the game even although we were second best in most positions across the park Joe and Ando were passes, the reason I say we were in the game is we could have with a bit of luck scored another two goals there today we maybe would not have deserved it but Lappins cross/shot came of the bar and Joes second half header was goal bound as was a Ando shot.

Must admit that I didn't expect Hibs to play as well as they did today. A dominating performance with good passing and movement. We were very limited. Penalty or not, we deserved nothing from the game. A better performance than some of our recent ones, but not good enough for a semi-final.Mannus made a hash of it for their second goal. Slow reactions. Cummins should have come on instead of Sutton, and at an earlier stage of the match. A poor decision by Tommy.Both supports contributed to a great atmosphere. Congratulations to Hibs and good luck in the final.

We played them as if we were the first division team, far too much respect, too many punts up the park. We could and should have ripped them to shreds. That is not a good Hibs team.

Oh I see. Looks like they are expecting trouble. Haven't noticed any such message/directive issued by the SPFL (who fecked up the stadium/ticket arrangements), Polis etc. prior to a game before. Looks like fans in the 'wrong ' area will have to leave their colours at home, sit on their hands throughout the game and remain tight lipped till the end. What a f ecking way to watch YOUR team in a semi final of a national competition. Dung cast er and his henchmen should hang their heads in shame. Sooner HE is EJECTED the better.

Certain individuals of the old guard were very poor. An insistance of almost sentimental qualities, will be to the detriment of our club if we are not careful.

Wouldnt have Witherspoon in my team . His attempt to tackle McGinn at their second goal summed up his whole game where he was out of position most of the game & his attempts to put in a tackle were abysmal. Joe has to centre back & hopefully for years to come.

Kane wasnt even on the bench btw. The manager genuinely thought Sutton was a better option. Must have absolutely crushed the boys confidence.

Clark Joe - Ando - Scobbie - Easton O'Halloran - Wotherspoon - Muzz - Thomson Cummins - MacLean Is what I'd be hoping TW is thinking about as a regular line up for the rest of the season now. Its not over obviously but its becoming clear that Rangers and Hibs will be returning next season, and in two years we could have Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and Dundee United all in the top flight with money to spend. Ignoring the fact Dundee and Motherwell can also outspend us. We need to start planning for that, and like it or not the likes of Mannus, Mackay and Millar won't be playing for us in two or three years. MacLean obviously won't be either but hes been our best player this season so its pointless keeping him out. We simply need to find out how the likes of Clark and Thomson cope with regular football, same with Brown and Kane. Theres no point giving them a start here and a start there, they need to be allowed to build an understanding up. Tough decisions need to be made by TW, and I'm not convinced he'll be willing to make them, the fact he instantly pumped a half fit Mackay and Millar straight into the line up, while dropping Kane completely suggests he has absolutely no faith in anyone outwith his regular 13/14 players.

Two poor teams . If lappins free kick goes in we win the game.

I think I know what you mean spazz. from what I saw all week the talk was of tickets, tickets...moh ..and more tickets. Sometimes circumstances appear to give the players every excuse to lose. Since when was being outnumbered 4-1 an issue for the Perth Saints? That said, so far Hibs have put out the teams who finished 2nd, 4th, and 5th last season, pretty tough cup run...respect!

Hibs were better team and deserved win Good to see supporters of both teams mixing before and after game and on the train home without any bother.Good Luck in the Final.

Obv didn't say this before the match, but it felt like we invited the loss, that it was somehow what we expected. I personally didn't expect to win....don't know why, just that gut feeling..............

Spot on. If Kane wasn't injured then there is something far wrong. Sutton is just not a footballer. Time to give Sander a shot in goal. His second should never have beaten a decent goalie even if the shot should have been closed down & he was caught by surprise. Starting at the back,as much as McKay is a legend,he is past it. Experiment at centre back Joe has proved it is his position. Easton has not looked the same player the last 6\7 games even though he looked injured today. Midge like McKay is on his last legs & Tommy made a huge mistake playing him. Witherspoon was poor going forward & in defence & was rightly hooked but it should have been earlier & replaced by Thomson. McLean & O'Halloran didn't play well together & Wright should have changed it. Wright talked up Hibs which I thought was mind games but I think his players believed it. Far too negative. Finally the advantage His had with 3/4 of the crowd showed up with the shout for penalty.

The better team won. Too many players struggling with injuries or poor form. McLean, Easton, Spoony, Millar and Davidson all below par. The team is very blunt moving forward now. Both Spoony and Lappin do not stretch the game and full-backs find it easy to play against them. The worst performance though came from our gaffer (my favourite ever manager)- he really seemed to get a lot wrong. His subs in particular were frustrating. Hibs defence are clearly average at best- bringing Thomson on one wing- MOH on the other and having Cummins in the middle would of given us a lot more threat in the last 20. Trying to play MacLean and Sutton in the same team is simply dreadful. It's not often I criticise the gaffer, but this time I think he got many things wrong. The main positive for me is Joe who continues to prove himself a fantastic addition. He was superb today. Our best player by a long way.

For those who are saying that this season is now a dead rubber, I'd respectfully disagree. We're still very much in with a shout of finishing 4th and qualifying for Europe if Celtic or Hearts win the Scottish Cup. Having said that, we won't be finishing in the top 4 if we continue playing like this.

Ah well, there's always next time. Saints got what they deserved today. Hibs were just the better team and despite their penalty looking a shocker of a decision from the ref, ( I want to see it again but first impressions were it was a clear DIVE) I felt they did enough merit the win. Unfortunately Saints left a good few regrets out on the Tynecastle pitch today. Too many of our heroes got knowhere near their best. I though we were fine in patches and could have sneaked a goal at the death to take the game into extra time but overall the performance lacked drive, tempo and most importantly, belief.. I am a bit down now but hey ho, that's fitba for you. You have to take the rough with the smooth. I will be there next week, at McD for the Aberdeen game, trying my best to cheer them to victory ( would be nice if some of those who turned up today for the first time in a while could join us). Chris Kane dropped from the bench today (Mabey injured ) surely our young up and coming players should be getting at least some experience of a semi-final occasion! Sutton what is the point? Even when he comes on he is a goal scorer ( supposedly), so why when we got a corner or a Joe throw he stands off the park at the front post Bizarre. Also think Cuptie Dave is now facing the catch up of father time era, it would appear that when it catches you up it is quite rapid as Fraz found out as well, just about on a match basis a little bit more. problem we have is his replacement ( stand in) is worse than what Dave is hence why Dave probably had to play so soon after injury. Hope I am proved wrong. Onwards and upwards .

Unlucky lads and fair play to your support who got behind your team throughout. You guys can play good football at times and every time the lad O'halloran had the ball I was nervous!! devent game and great atmosphere produced by both sets of fans! All the best for the rest of the season! GGTTH

Don't think we were as bad as some are making out. Passing was slack at times but we gave it a go. Thought Mikey and Wotherspoon were poor but maybe the formation didn't help. Thought Joe and Lappin played really well. Macca tried as usual. Muzz is a powerhouse. This HIbs team has been put together at great expense so it's no fairy tale that a championship side has beat three Premiership teams. Disappointing but I'm not going to let it ruin my weekend.

Went for Shaughnessy, an absolute rock in the first half and with performances like that making the centre back position his own.

In my limited football opinion you cant get away with playing two cm who arnt fully fit, one of them would of been ok but two is asking for trouble ....and what has happend with our form since mid november is something going on behind the scenes we dont know about?? I can see us struggling to make top six if we carry on like this

O'Halloran isn't a striker. I wish someone would tell Tommy. We actually lose two players, a striker and a left winger. Plus playing two unfit central midfielders against a strong, young and quick hibs centre was a joke. Poor. Well done Joe Shaughnessy though. Very good centre half.

No complaints, we were absolutely rank rotten, which tbf we've been since Christmas. Absolutely huge question marks over Mannus and Mackay now, boths position must surely be under huge pressure. Millar remains a liability due to being unable to last 90 while TWs absolutely outrageous decision to decide Sutton was a game changer is one of the worst hes made at the club. Id have Cummins and Kane miles ahead of him. Not even that angry as it was clear early on we were losing that.

The majority of our existence has been the nearly men and bottom half of the top league. Or top half of the 2nd league Were just doing what we normally do struggle against the big boys.

Hibs fans will have no problems with saintees fans being in our end pal. Its the non cheating, non charity thieving big team from Edinburgh against the respectable Saintees.

If it's not about colour, why don't you guys ever mention the 2 million British migrants in Spain? Or the millions of white migrants into Australia, which totally destroyed the native culture? Or the white invasion of the Caribbean, which led to the complete extinction of the native people? Britain has invaded militarily over 100 counties, including most if not all of those where these migrants are from. We slaughtered, raped, pillaged and suppressed. The least we can do is give a few folk a home, when they are fleeing yet more wars for which white people are at the very least partially responsible.
